"I can't help wondering if things would be different."

Just a fair warning, what happened to Harry is mentioned by word in this chapter.

Once again, this is a real thing that happens and it needs to be dealt with and stopped. Not pushed away and made invalid.

Also, my ass just realised my phone has been correcting Carrow to Crow. Kill me.
Anyways, enjoy. Well.. try to. I apologize in advance.

Even though Draco was hurt, and though he was upset with Harry, the worried feeling in the pit of his stomach didn't settle when he saw Harry enter with other Aurors. Pansy had a tight grip on his hand as Hermione had explained to her why Draco looked so pissed when he sat down. Ron had scoffed at him, though, telling him he hadn't a right to feel that way. And that, Hermione and Pansy praying, didn't cause Draco to blow up.

No.

The blond simply, with a wave of his hand, shut Ron up. Blaise had exclaimed that under his parole Draco was unable to perform spells like so against certain people like Ron, but with a glare from Pansy - a mixed look of confusion within her eyes at Blaise's moment of kindness towards Ron (obviously had to do with Neville) - Blaise slumped in his seat and looked down. Hermione sat leaned towards Draco, watching as he blond seemed to notice Harry looking up at him. He simply adverted his eyes as Hermione began to ask him about vacation and if he had plans. At this point, he planned on setting himself up at St. Mungo's before he completely lost his mind.

When they saw Amycus with two guards, trapped in a contraption with sharps points to it, Draco's gaze stayed fixated on Harry, watching as his face went pale.

As Harry stood down by his fellow Aurors, Amycus Carrow smiling at him before looking around the ministry court, he felt as though he may collapse. His breathing became rather quick and heavy as his hands unclenched and clenched into fists. Tom noticed and placed a hand on his shoulder, causing him to yelp. Meanwhile, Draco had twitched in his seat as Pansy gripped his hand.

"He's fine." She assured.

"Granger." Draco whispered, leaning towards her.

"Yeah?" She asked, looking at him curiously.

"Is it just me, or does it look like he's going to pass out?"

Hermione looked down at Harry, seeing how pale his tan skin had become as Tom stared wide-eyed at him. She looked back at Draco who was looking worriedly at her. With a hand on his shoulders, a touch that would normally cause him to cringe inwardly, and she nodded at him.

"He'll be all right."

"But,"

"Draco, he'll be all right."

Draco, even in the shock of Hermione using his given name, didn't believe her. And if Hermione was being honest she didn't believe herself; Draco knew this, could see it in her eyes. Cornelius Fudge, who was somehow still in office, had brought down the gavel, causing the talking amongst those around to quiet down.

"We've called you all here to witness the trial of Amycus Carrow. Dark wizard and ex-Death Eater."

Draco was leaning forward in his seat, Pansy looking at him worriedly while Hermione and Ron exchanged glances.
