I walked into the record store clocking in to start my shift. "Goodmorning y/n" ivy, my bestfriend greeted me when i walked in. "Hey hey hey" replied back to her. JJ, kyle, Lea came from the back of the store. 
                          
"What's the song of the day!!" JJ yelled throughout the store. Lea tossed me a bag of skittles and i let them pick on out the bag. I got on top of the stairs and grabbed a random skittle out the bag.
                          
"YELLOW" I yelled. "No yellow" kyle answered. I picked out another one. "ORANGE" 
                          
"ME!! ME!! ME!!" Lea yellee jumping up and down. She grabbed a cd off the shelf and put one on the cd player and turned it all the way up.
                          
We dance around and restocked the shelves with cds and records that were brought back. 
                          
Finn's pov
                          
I was walking down the street on my way to the record store once again. I go there almost every week--almost every other day to see what new songs they had. I listen to the music they have there so i can relax, find inspiration, but mostly to see y/n. 
                          
I talk to y/n all the time when i go there . She's a pretty cool girl, but I'm going to try and ask her out on a date tonight. And by try i mean not get nervous or have anxiety. 
                          
When i got to the store, i could hear music from the outside, and by the sound of the music Lea had her pick today. I walked inside and i saw them restocking and dancing around. 
                          
"You have to do it like this" Kyle said as he did a dance move infront of them. Y/n and lea started dancing, but i paid more attention to y/n. She stuck her leg put and slid it back doing a twist and end it with a 'whoo' when she finshed. She looked up and saw me and smiled. "Finn!" She yelled over the music. 
                          
"Hey" i walked ul to her. "Came tk see what we have new in store?"
                          
"Uhh yeah" she took me to the back of the store. "We just got this today'" she held up a Beatles album. "But, i dont really knkw if you like the Beatles or not" she finshed. She showed me more albums they got today but i barely listened, i just mostly stared at her.
                          
Your POV 
                          
"So, that's about-" i stopped when i realized he was staring at me. "it.." i finished my sentence. "You can let me know when you found something you liked, you know routine" i smiled.
                          
"I think i already did" he says. "Oh, well which one?" I asked. "You..." he says in a mumble. I lost my breath. I didn't expect that to happen. "Finn..."
                          
"Y/n i like you. As in like like you....and i hoping you could go on a date with me tonight...it's nothing fancy, just that the carnival in town and it could be just a carnival date?" 
                          
Finn's POV 
                          
She's silent. Oh my god. What did i just do?!
                          
"Finn, you're an amazing boy. You're sweet and kind.."
                          
OH SHIT, OH SHIT, ABORT ABORT!!
                          
"Y/n, it's ok-"
                          
"I would be stupid if i said no to you. Yes, i would love to go on a date with you. Because, i like like you too" she smiled shyly at me.

Your POV 
                          
"Wow...ok well, i'll- I'll pick you up at 7 o'clock" he informs me and starts to walk backwards. "Yes, 7" i repeated. He walked into the boxes om the floor and fell into a pile of boxes. I covered my mouth to block my smile but im sure it was still noticeable becasue of my cheekbones.
                          
"Shit" he says under his breath and hurries to stand up, but falls again. I got over to him and help him up. "Ok...I'm going now...7 o'clock"
