"Miss Peregrine!" I ran downstairs with a clatter of footsteps "Miss!" I almost yelled. I came rashing into the study where Miss Peregrine was talking to Claire. 
"Antoinette! What do you think you are doing making all this racket?" She yelled angrily
"Miss Peregrine.! Hollows are on the island!" I said, out of breath
"What on earth are you talking about?" Miss Peregrine stood up from her desk. "Claire you may be excused. Claire got up and skipped out of the room. 
"In telling you, Miss P. The Sheep were attacked by HOLLOWS! I shouted the last part to emphasise what a crisis this was. 
"Oh don't be silly, Toni. Hollows haven't found a loop in years." She took a long breath of her pipe.
"Fine, don't believe me, but i won't fight your battle for you. You are on your own."
"If what you say is true, Toni, we are in gave danger." 
"It is, warn everyone!" I said, annoyed that Miss Peregrine of all people would not be concerned. She seemed.... off. I thought hard, i searched the depths of my brain to find an answer to Miss Peregrines unusual behaviour, but i couldn't think of anything."Fine. I will just go then." I said exiting the study before Miss Peregrine could say anything more. 
"E? You in here?" I said pushing the door to Enoch's room open
"Yeah." He replied. I walked into the dull, dusty room and closed the door shut behind me. Enoch was sitting at his desk, working on his projects. "Hey, love." He said, getting up from his desk to hug me. We stood there for a second, just taking eachother in.
"Miss Peregrine has been acting awfully strange these last few days." I said as we broke the hug. He sat back down at his desk.
"I agree. Ever since she got back from town a couple of days ago, she seems... Weird." Enoch said, adjusting a doll's head that lay lifeless on the desk.
"Do you think something happened?" I asked 
"Maybe, you can never tell these days." He said
"I told her that there may be a hollow on the island and she acted like that there was nothing wrong." 
"Wait... there is a hollow on the island? How do you know?"
"I only think that because when i woke up there was dead sheep, but i kill things, as a monster, with one clean slash. I assumed that something else had done it but no other creature than a hollow could of done that much damage."
"Damn, then we are in danger. We better warn the others about it, even f it's not true." He said, concerned
"Yes, we should."
"Toni...?"
"Yeah?" I asked
"When you said that Miss Peregrine wasn't herself."
"Yeah..?" 
"What if she is literally not herself."
"What do you mean?"
"What if, when she went to town a couple of Baron's followers kidnapped her and downstairs is one of them pretending to be Miss Peregrine?" 
"Holy shit. Fuck." I got up from the bed immediately. "We have to warn the others!" Enoch got up as well and gathered a few of his things, we turned to the door. Before we could open it the nob turned and with a quick stoke, the door flung open to reveal Miss Peregrine, who had a sickening smile tattooed onto her face. Enoch stood in front of me and took my hand.
"Children! What a lovely surprise!" Miss Peregrine said. Her smile melted away with the rest of her body as she slowly morphed into the Barron himself. 
"Mind if i join your tea party?"
