The words rang through Peter's head like a siren. He ran out into the living room and saw all the panicked ex-avengers. Peter looked at them all.

He knew if Tony found them, they would be arrested and sent to jail, and it would be all his fault. Peter took a deep breath and cleared his throat to get their attention.

"Listen, this is all my fault and I am sorry, but I have a plan. I'll go outside and distract Tony, while you guys escape."

They shook their heads.
"No Peter, we're not going to leave you, you're family." Bucky said. The others nodded. Peter smiled sadly but shook his head.

"No... he'll arrest you if he sees you. He's still really mad about the civil war." Peter said. Clint walked over to him.

"What's he gonna do to you?" He asked. Peter lowered his head.
"Well, I guarantee that Spiderman will be no more, and I will never be allowed to leave the house. Which means I can never see you guys again..."

Natasha shook her head.
"No. That's not happening. If that villain comes back and you're unarmed, you won't stand a chance."

Peter nodded.
"I know, but I can't tell him about the villain. That will put dad, Uncle Rhodey, Uncle Bruce and Uncle Vision in danger."

Everyone seemed slightly hurt by the fact that Peter called them his uncles, but not them. Oh well not important right now. Another yell from Tony was heard.

"Peter Stark I'm giving you 10 seconds to get out here or I will blast down this door and drag you home myself!!!" He shouted.

Peter frowned.
"I'll miss you all... so much..." he said and a tear rolled down his cheek, "but you have to go. It's safer this way."

Peter turned around and walked out the front door. Little did he know, the heroes stood at the window watching as Tony lectured the boy that grew on them all over the past 4 months.

Tony exited the suit, and Peter stepped back. This felt like after the ferry incident all over again.

"Peter, you are in big trouble with me." Tony said angrily. Peter nodded his head sadly and that made all the hearts of the eavesdropping heroes shatter.

"You're grounded for 4 months, the same time you were gone for." Tony said. Peter figured that was fair. What came next shocked him.

"And you're done. No more Spiderman." Tony said firmly. Peter's mouth dropped.

"For how long!?" He exclaimed. Tony's expression did not change.

"Forever."

Those words rang through Peter's head. He was dead meat if he could never be Spiderman again. Mystery villain would kill him easily.

"But dad-" Peter began, but Tony cut him off.

"No Peter. All your suits are gone. They're locked up somewhere safe where I know you won't get them. You broke my trust Peter, so no more Spiderman, ever."

Peter's eyes welled with tears, but Tony was firm. The ex-avengers could not believe what had just happened. If Peter didn't have his suit, they all knew he'd barely last a week if that guy attacked him again.

They had to do something. Anything, to save Peter. Natasha looked at her family. She was the one closest to Peter and Stark, it made sense for her to go.

"Let me go with them. Stark and I have history, he won't lock me up. You guys run, and when the time is right, I'll come get you." She said.

Steve shook his head.
"We're a team Natasha, we don't split up. And Peter is apart of that team."

The others agreed and Natasha shook her head.
"You don't understand, if we get arrested, so will Peter. He's involved with us, that makes him a criminal too. If we all go out there, we could ruin his future."

The others hung their heads. But suddenly, several black vans surrounded Tony and Peter outside.

They watched as men in all black jumped out of the car and pointed their guns at Peter. Peter immediately raised his hands and Tony got mad.

"What the hell is going on!?" Tony shouted. A man stepped forward and handed a slip of paper to Tony.

"Peter Stark has been anonymously identified as being aware of the location of the fugitives. We are arresting him and interrogating him until we get answers."

The ex-avengers looked at one another in panic. They had to get out of there. They watched helplessly as the men surrounded Peter, and Tony could do nothing.

"Peter Stark put your hands up!" The men yelled. Peter was shoved to the ground, and Tony yelled something about brutality.

Peter was cuffed and shoved into the back of a police van. Tony shouted one last thing to Peter before he was taken away.

"Do not worry Peter, I will get you out of this, I promise." He put his hand to the window and the van drove away, with Peter inside.

Peter knew who ratted him out to the cops. That villain. He's trying to ruin his life slowly... and he was succeeding. Peter sighed as the rough metal of the handcuffs, dug painfully into his wrists.

He would never sell out his family. Not in a million years.

As for the fleeing heroes, they had a plan. They went to Stark towers and awaited Tony's return.

They sat in the living room of their old common room, and looked sadly at a distressed Tony when he entered the room.

Tony laid eyes on his former teammates and his mouth fell open.

"What are you doing here Rogers?"

"Tony... I need to talk to you... about Peter."
