Despite the fact that I'd married young, I rather disproved of young love. I thought the young teens going through the ups and downs of life were bound to make the wrong choices, as I did in my age.

My husband was a rather dull man, receding grey air and round spectacles rested on the bridge of his nose, with no respect but much money. With his riches, I was able to take on my dream profession, being a teacher, without the worries of wrestling with the low salary.

At New York University, I taught foreign languages and English. Previous to my job as an educator, I'd worked as a translator. However, I found the consistent schedule boring and plain so I went back into college and got my Bachelor's degree in Language Arts and education.

I made sure to keep an organized classroom, clean desks in perfect rows and students seated in order of their grades. Those who had special needs or learning disabilities were seated next to a highly proficient student.

For example, one of my most worrying pupils, Perseus Jackson, was seated next to Jenny Parkinson, who received straight A's in all her classes except for Physical Education, which was one subject I thought was quite useless, especially in a learning facility. There was no need to get young minds over excited about a subject they will seldom use in the future unless they decide to look into a professional sport and have enough skill to make it onto the team.

Currently, I was grading papers at my desk. More disappointing students failing. Then the bell rang.

Ring, ring! Ring, ring!

I bunched the papers into a neat stack and then got up and walked to the door where I could hear voices. They quieted when I cracked the door open and were silenced when I stepped out.

They were in order at which they sat in their desks. I stared critically at them. "Students, please enter."

They all walked in, quietly, going directly to their assigned desk. I'd written on the board the necessary materials for the lesson today so many of the students glanced at the board on the way in. When I was sitting back at my desk, all of my students had a notebook and a pencil resting on their desktop.

I quickly took attendance and sent the form to the office off of my desktop computer. Then I stood and walked over to the board.

This week was special. It was idol week. Every staff member was required to bring in a famous person that they were connected to. I had chosen Annabeth Jackson. My step-nephew thrice removed had her as a half sister.

"For idol week, students, I have decided to pull some strings and use some favors to bring in a very inspirational person. At a mere twenty four years old, Annabeth Chase has built her self a reputation over an architecture firm she created a age twenty. I expect you to be respectful to her. Now, introducing, the trillionare, Annabeth Jackson!"

Annabeth walked in and smiled. I thought she was very inspirational, if I do say so myself. "Hello," she said in an angelic voice.

Her outfit was very professional, and I did in fact, approve of her. She kept on a very straight face, not joking or being ridiculous as many college students have proven themselves to be.

My, was this going to be an enjoyable class period.

Time Skip

Annabeth had proven herself, unsurprisingly, to be a smart girl. I enjoyed her explanation on how she rose to fame and watched the students take notes. She mad it easy, as her speech was organized into the separate parts of her creation of her firm.

I provided my pupils with have an additional twenty minutes in which they could speak to her, one-on-one, each allowed about a minute.

I was intently watching Perseus, my trouble maker in this class. But he stayed calm. Though his questions were somewhat unusual.

"When are you coming home?" he whined.

Annabeth laughed. "I'll be home an hour after you."

"Χάω τη γυναίκα μου." Percy said.

Must be Greek. I didn't know enough of it to the point where I knew what I was saying.

"I try, Percy."

"I know, Wise girl, but it's hard to handle the kiddos on my own."

Annabeth laughed. "Σ'αγαπώ."

"I do too."

I knew enough Greek for that.

And that's how I met Percabeth.
