CHAPTER XX: DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE?

                                    

                                          
Yoonji POV
"Yoonji-ah, I think I like you."Jimin said.
                          
At that moment I forgot to breath and I froze infront of him.
                          
"Yoonji-ah! Gwaenchan-ha?" he looked at my face to make sure I'm fine and now his nose is 4 inches closer to mine.
                          
"You know you're blushing right now!" he said with a smirk in his face.
                          
"Yah!" I pushed his face using my hand. "Are you happy now? Stop teasing me or I'll break your bones." I said.
                          
"Wae? I'm not teasing you. I'm confessing my feelings right now." he exclaimed
                          
His expression became shy and sad. "I actually decided to ignore my feelings for you before, because I thought it will eventually fade away. But everytime I see you, I keep on thinking you look prettier every single day."
                          
"I tried dating tons of girls to forget my feelings about you, I went to bars to meet new girls but... My love for you didn't even change for a second. Everytime I go on a date, they don't get mad when I tease them, they always tried to act cute in return. There isn't a moment where I wish I was spending my time with you instead. What am I gonna do now? I can't control my feelings for you anymore." he added.
                          
"I'm sorry! I don't think I can accept your feelings for me." I replied without even thinking. Him liking me? Just like what he had said, I'm different from the girls he'd dated before. I mean does that even make sense?
                          
He avert his eyes from mine. "It's okay!" He looked at me and manage to put on a smile on his face. "Uhmmm, it's kinda awkward now right?" he laughed a bit. "We should get get back to our seats." He then walk me to my table and leaned forward to me "Don't worry, I don't want to pressure you but from now on, I'll wait for you." he put on his angel like eye smile and pat my head then he returned to his.
                          
Y/N POV
Before the song ended Taehyung Oppa pulled my arm and walk to the other side of the dance floor.
                          
He reached out his hand to a girl. "Sojin-ah, can I have this dance?"
                          
"Sojin?" wait... I looked at the girl, it is Lee Sojin and Jungkook is standing beside her.
                          
"But, I want to dance more with Jungkook Oppa!" she replied.
                          
"Come on, you can dance with him later." Taehyung Oppa held her arm and dance her.
                          
Now what's left is me and Junngkook awkwardly standing beside each other. I was about to go but then he stop me.
                          
"Mmmm, D-do you want to dance?" Jungkook hesitantly said.
                          
"Uh, o-kay" I answered. Another song started playing.

I don't know why, but this song kinda tells what I am feeling right now.
                          
The situation is awkward. My hands on his shoulder and his hands on my waist. Our eyes don't intend to meet at all, but the silence is broken by his words.
                          
"Y/N-ah!" he said with a sweet voice.
                          
"Yes?" I answered him.
                          
"I have something to ask you, Is it okay?"
                          
"What is it?" I replied with nervousness all over my body.
                          
"I see you're close to all of the boys dates now, but I'm a little worried that Sojin might feel uncomfortable without someone to talk to. Can you look after her and be her friend?"
                          
"Me? Seriously Jungkook, I-I don't think that's gonna happen because we don't really have the same interest, except for you." I started explaining and he raised his eyebrow after hearing that.
                          
"I meeeeeean she likes you as a man and I like you as a friend." he nod and I sighed.
                          
"Can I ask you something too?"
                          
"Ofcourse, what do you want to know?"
                          
"Why do you seem so cold to me?" I said.
                          
"Me?" he looked down to avert his eyes from mine. "I just thought you're uncomfortable talking to me so I ignored you."
                          
"Oh" I sighed in relief. "I thought you don't like me."
                          
"Ofcourse not, I like you."
                          
"Good!" I smiled "Atleast we like each other as a friend."
                          
"I don't want us to be just friends!" Jungkook suddenly spoke.
                          
"Wha-what are you saying? I-I mean what do you mean by that?" I was stuttering.
                          
"I mean, I want us to be close friends." he cleared things out.
                          
"Oh, Okay! I'm fine with that." I just replied.
                          
"Cool, can we drop the formalities now?"
                          
"mmm... Joh-a (I like that)" then we both smiled at each other until the song ended.

Bonfire
After the wedding everyone went to their rooms. While Y/N and the others change their clothes to prepare for the bonfire.
                          
Yoonji POV
"Y/N-ah where are you! I need someone to talk too." I tried calling her number but she's not answering so I decided to roam around first.
                          
As I was walking by the sea, something splash to my mind. "Yoonji-ah, I think I like you." I sighed and closed my eyes just feeling the cold breeze. "It's nice knowing you like me, but I'm not sure how I feel about you. I don't want to end up hurting you, I don't want to lose my mortal enemy." 
                          
Right after that moment I heard voices laughing from afar. I walk towards those voices as I saw a boy and a girl flirting, laughing after the girl whispered to him and the boy did the same thing.
                          
"Tsk. I guess I did the right thing after all! I can't believe my heart almost fell for his trash words. Liar!" I walk back to the bonfire place.
                          
Jimin POV
I was walking by the beach when a girl suddenly approach me.
                          
"Hi there handsome!"
                          
"I'm sorry but, I don't want someone to accompany me now."
                          
"Are you sure about that?" she leaned forward and whispered to my ear with a seductive voice. "You seem like you have something in your mind bothering you, I could help you forget that."
                          
I fake a laughed for what she said and she also laughed.
                          
"What should I do? I don't want to forget every bit of it, and the only one bothering me is you! Annyeong." I wave my hand to her and turned around.
                          
I saw a woman running and she seemed familiar.
                          
Y/N POV
"Yah! Yoonji, I have something to tell you. It's really unbelievable and it's making my heart flutter just by thinking of it." I told Yoonji as I arrived near the Bonfire place.
                          
"Nado!" she pouted with a disapointed look, almost crying.
                          
"Yah, are you okay? What happen?" she started sobbing.
                          
"J-Jimin" she tried explaining but it's the only word that keeps coming out from her mouth.
