Sophie shut the car door behind her and stared at the old house she had called home for her whole life. The house had been painted a fresh coat of white, although it was already peeling a bit. The stones that led to her house that she and her older sisters had drawn on when they were younger were still there, bringing tears to her eyes. She wiped them with the back of her hand and jogged to the trunk to get her bags out, but her mom had beat her to it.

"Mum, I mean, Mom, you don't have to." Sophie sighed and picked at the rip in my jeans.

"My baby girl is home. I have to spoil her rotten." She smiled and kissed her cheek. "Jack didn't even let me make his bed."

"I thought that was his least favorite chore! He would pay me twenty bucks just to make it." Sophie laughed.

"He says 'I work too hard'. " She, said making air quotations.

"You do." Sophie smiled at her.

"Ready?" Katherine asked her daughter who had left as an insecure, small, and alone girl and came back as a quirky, confident woman.

"As I'll ever be." she mentally prepared herself as her mother swung the door open to reveal thousands of people, as Sophie saw it, with red cups in their hands.

"SOPHIIIIEEEEE!" She heard a deep, but familiar voice yell from their tiled kitchen.

Jack, now way taller than Sophie, ran towards her baby sister and scooped her up in his arms, never wanting to let go.

"Jack... you're... killing me." Sophie let out small breaths as her brother released her.

"I'm sorry. I missed you." he smiled a smile she had missed so much.

"I missed you more." Sophie squeezed her brother one more time. "Have you been working out? When I left, you weren't this buff." She softly punched his stomach, his abs punching back.

"Sophhhhh!!!!" Sophie heard Molly and Lauren, her two older sisters, squeal.

"Laur! Mol!" she yelled and gave her two sisters a huge hug.

"You've gotten taller, haven't you?" Molly asked, twirling her sister around.

"Just an inch. I'm 5'7 now." Sophie laughed at her dorkiness.

"You sure beat me." Laura sighed. She was wearing heels and she was still tiny. Sophie and Jack had gotten the height of their father while Laura and Molly had stayed short.

"Where's my favorite Gilinsky?" Jack Johnson appeared from the kitchen.

"Jack!" Sophie yelled and threw herself into his arms. She had missed his lame jokes and hilarious imitations.

"I'm almost as tall as you." Sophie laughed and ruffled Jack's already messy, blonde hair.

"That's because you're wearing boots and I'm wearing vans."

"They barely have heels." She said and looked down at her black Doc Martins.

Jack glanced at her sister as she talked to everyone in the room with ease, especially to Sam, who she had a crush on when she was younger.

Although the scars on her arms and thighs and long faded over the two years she had spent over seas in a British therapy center for teenagers, that also served as a boarding school, Jack was still worried she would go over board once again.

"Hey Jack." He heard Sophie's voice approaching him.

"How's my favorite baby sister?" he asked and kissed Sophie's forehead.
