Sally was having a normal day after the DVD shop closed when there was the sound of a familiar rotor. She looked up, startled, and Larry came running in, too. They both watched as the outline of a police box appeared in front of them, and both of them began to grin.
The Bad Wolf poked her head out, and she gave them a cheeky smile. "So?" she asked with a grin. "How long's it been?"
"A few months," Sally replied with a grin, standing up. "You've done it, then?"
"Oh, yes," the Doctor replied, appearing and putting his arm around the Bad Wolf's waist. "Thank you, by the way, for looking out for her."
The Bad Wolf swatted him in the arm. "I need the one looking after?"
"Well, after 1913."
The Bad Wolf made a face. "You were still a rubbish human."
"He's never going to live that down, is he?" Martha asked.
"Nope!"
The Doctor sighed before stepping out and holding out a hand. "But really. Thank you."
Sally beamed and shook his hand. "You're welcome."
"It was great to finally meet you," Larry added as he shook his hand as well.
The Bad Wolf gave them both a tight hug. "You keep an eye out on each other, yeah?" she asked. "I can't always be there."
"We will," Sally replied, grasping Larry's hand.
The Bad Wolf beamed and stepped back into the TARDIS. "Oh, by the way," the Doctor added before he went in before smirking. "Remember. Don't blink."
He winked and entered, and the TARDIS dematerialized again.

Captain Jack Harkness leaned back in his chair as he listened to Gwen Cooper talk. "What's happened to the Rift?" she asked.
"It closed up when Abaddon was destroyed," he replied. "But it's gonna be more volatile than ever."
"The visions we had," Gwen whispered. "We all saw people we loved. What did you see?"
Jack paused, and looked over Gwen's shoulder. Natasha Romanoff had stopped what she was doing and was staring down at her paper. Clint Barton, however, looked up. "Nothing," he replied gruffly. "There was nothing."
Gwen didn't look away from Jack. "Jack, what would have tempted you? What visions would have convinced you to open the Rift?"
Jack looked at her, a dozen scenarios playing out in his head on what he had seen, various ways the woman he loved like a younger sister had died. He swallowed. "The right kind of Doctor," he replied in a tight voice.
"But, Jack - !"
Jack stood up and exited back towards the Hub. Natasha and Clint followed him. "Still no sign?" she asked.
"No," Jack sighed, looking around. "Where are they with those coffees?"
"Jack," Clint said in an odd voice.
Jack turned to see the archer looking at the Doctor's hand in the jar, which was glowing and bubbling. Jack eyed it before a sharp wind began to blow through the Hub, and a familiar noise filled the air. He smirked and turned back to the Avengers, both of whom were getting a deadly look in their eyes. "You'll get there first," he told them, handing them the key he still kept in his pocket. "Go get him."
Natasha grabbed it and took off running, Clint right on her heels. Jack packed up the hand in the jar, patting it before turning and running after them.
It was time to get back at the Doctor, once and for all, and - his chest tightened - avenge Jessie.
The TARDIS was back.
