Antoinette Rose Justice was anything but cold. She had a heart that was so big and warm. She was probably the nicest person in the small town of Paper Planes, but sometimes her emotions got the best of her. If she saw a squashed bug on the pavement she would cry salty tears, until she had none left. Everyone called her crybaby. Her parents died when she was a baby, so she stayed at an orphanage in the heart of the town.
They treated her well, she ate three meals a day and had a comfortable bed to sleep on . The only problem was that no one wanted to be friends with her. Everyone just saw her as a crybaby.
One day when she was exploring the town, the local butcher told her something that she would remember all her life. He was chopping up meat and she had tears in her eyes and he said "if your going to cry, don't. If there's anyone worth saving, it's yourself." She was shocked by his words, but that was the day when her heart of gold turned brass. She came to her senses and over the next few months she wasn't happy, she was angry, the fire burning deep inside her soul. She wasn't sad, she was heartless. The monster inside of her was hungry and ready to kill.
Although she didn't realise at the time, she was peculiar, there was another side to her that she didn't discover until a year later, the people around her paid the price for calling her a crybaby.
