"What is this? I have this power and I can't do - anything-" Elena shook her head in total desperation.
Caroline didn't know what to say, and now just hugged the brunette.

Flashback
The Old cemetery
Elijah's fangs dug in deep in Elena's neck, drinking savagely from her for a second. The witches mystic blood flowed intoxicating through him, making her pull her tighter onto him. And he would have drank her to her death, if she hadn't pushed him off of her, now snapping his neck with the magic that surged out of her.
Holding the open vein, she knelt immediately down next to the vampire, checking if he was all right.
"Oh, no! What did I do? Elijah, wake up."
Sheila and Jane-Anne now entetered. Seeing Elena full of blood, Jane-Anne quickly ran a magical ointment she had in her bag, sealing the bite wound.
"I killed him. Oh- I"- Elena cried.
"No, you haven't." - Jane-Anne said-"he can't be killed. They made him eternal."
"What?" Elena looked puzzled.
"Let's get him out of here."the younger witch said."I will explain in detail about the enchantment.
Elena sighrd and nodded. The two women now carried the vampire to the car that was just outside the old cemetery.
Arriving at the Mikaelson Mansion, Elijah regained consciousness, and as he realized where he was he looked at Elena and the other two witches with angered eyes.
"Get out of here!" the vampire shouted.
"Elijah?" Elena couldn't believe what she wss hearing as well as the vampire's demeanour. He looked at her as if she was no one to him.
