A pitch-black void, that was all that Thea could see.
Thea looked all around her and nothing was there, except for a small glowing stone in the middle of the darkness, floating.
This exact dream happened once before when Wanda played with her mind. The same small rock was there. It was glowing almost white and was enticing her in.
As Thea got closer to the stone a large voice could be heard clearer and clearer. A deep voice calling out in the darkness.
Thea, my child.
Thea stopped her movement toward the mysterious stone when she heard this.
"Who-who is there?" Thea called out into the darkness. With no answer to her question, Thea continued on her slow and cautious trail toward the glowing stone. With every step toward the stone, it's light seemed to glow brighter and brighter until it was almost unbearable to look at.
Thea reached out a hesitant hand to the stone but stopped suddenly when the same voice called out loudly.
No, use your powers, Thea.
"Am I really going to listen to a voice in my head?" Thea scoffed out, her voice carrying deep into the darkness.
Thea at first didn't do what the voice said, being hesitant to listen to a voice. But seeing as she was in control of her powers she slowly let out her powers in the palm of her hand.
Her hand glowing slightly as her powers flowed out into the darkness, circling around her palm. Slowly, Thea reached the same hand out to the small stone. Her powers seemed almost attracted to the small stone because as her hand got closer the more her hand began to glow and the more her powers seemed to flow out. The stone too began to glow exponentially brighter with the closing distance between it and her hand.
Thea took in one last deep breath before she closed the distance and clasped her hand around the stone. As soon as her powered up hand made contact with the stone she felt a rush of energy flow out of her body.
Thea gasped out audibly as her hand tensed up with the stone in her grasp. Her body went cold and numb as if all the energy from her had been drained from her and replaced by this foreign power. Her power flowing through her hand was now cascading out of her hand at an aggressive rate. All of her powers were now flowing into the stone and being captured inside of it, causing Thea's hands to glow weaker as the stone began to glow brighter. Thea tried to let her grip go on the stone but as much as she tried she wasn't able to.
As soon as her hands ceased to glow, she was physically drained by the stone. But all at once a surge blasted its way from the stone and up into her palm. Thea shut her eyes tight for a moment, trying to get used to this new power in her body. When Thea opened her eyes she could see her hand that was holding the stone was not tinted purple. This purple was slowing making its way up her arms and throughout her entire body.
Thea opened her mouth in horror as the purple grew and soon enough it reached her chest. Holding in a breath, Thea waited for the purple glow to reach her head. She closed her eyes tight as she felt a numbness go over her head and coldness compassing her whole body.

Thea snapped her eyes open violently and immediately regretted it as she had to adjust to the bright and harsh lights of the room she was in. It took Thea a second to realize what had happened and where she was, but as soon as she did she looked around to try to spot Dr. Truman. Thea tried to grasp what she had just witnessed but stayed in shock as Dr. Truman appeared from the corner of her eyes.
"So, what did you see?" the doctor asked with her eyes narrowed at Thea. Her dark eyes swirled with a glint of curiosity, while the remainder of the emptiness held madness.
Thea kept herself calm by concentrating on her breathing but this ultimately failed as Dr. Truman came closer, a slight smirk on her lips. What was once a steady and calm breathing pattern, quickly became an uneasy and mixed breathing pattern. Inhales were sharp and exhales were long and panicked.
"Do you know what your power holds now? The strength you possess?"
Thea stayed silent, pushing her brain back to what happened only moments earlier. The strange voice that called to her in the darkness, the blinding stone being the only source of light in the vast darkness, the feeling of power and strength steaming through her frail body before she woke up.
"You could make cities fall to their knees with a single hand, entire countries would plead their surrender, the world could be at your disposal and the entire universe could be your play-thing!" Truman's eyes grew wider with every word and soon she stepped back, looking up at the blank ceiling in disbelief.
"Imagine it!"
"I would rather just stay in my bedroom and sleep, not conquer the world if I'm being completely honest," Thea spoke softly.
Truman whipped her head down to glare at Thea, and with two quick strides, she found herself in front of Thea and gripped her cheeks with two sharp nails.
"You will be grateful for the service that we are providing you. At the end of this you will be grateful and in our service as payment."

"What did the kidnappers look like?" Natasha asked Peter, who had calmed down a considerable amount since he first arrived at the Avengers compound. She was typing information into a rather large computer, her nails clicking against the keys with every press of a button.
"They were tall men, dressed in all black and I think they had a red octopus symbol on their shirts." Peter wrinkled his eyebrows in thought. At this statement, Natasha stopped her typing and looked directly at Peter. Her facial expression changed slightly, her eye grew and held curiosity in them.
"Are you sure it was an octopus? What else did you see?"
"I mean, yeah, I'm pretty sure it was an octopus, I think it had a human skull for a head though, which is strange," Peter replied.
Natasha looked over at Tony who only closed his eyes in response. Tony slowly opened his eyes and spoke out loud, "We have to find her."
Author's Note
This isn't my best work, and I'm slowly losing my creativity for writing, but I don't want to give up on this story.
Hopefully, I gain my writing back.
