After Molly helped me clean myself up, we both fall asleep the second our heads hit the pillow, sleeping until 3:00 when my mom finally decided to wake us up.  We both looked at each other, shook our heads and laughed, rubbing our eyes, knowing both of us had a hangover just as bad as the other. The girls hadn’t shown up, but Alexa texted me.

Lexie Lou: come over to Niall’s when you wake up!

is Louis there?

Lexie Lou: No, he’s apparently still asleep…

I groan and lay my head in my hands, dizzy from standing.

“Why did that have to happen last night, Molly?”

“Just come on, brush your teeth, I can hear your stomach growling from here.” I admit I am hungry, but the thought of eating anything makes me want to puke. We both put on yoga pants and a sweatshirt, clean up our faces and leave.  I glance at Louis’s door when we walk past his house. We have our hands in our pockets, our heads down, the wind making our eyes water.

“Why couldn’t we have just stayed home?” I say, my head pounding.

“I heard Niall makes good pancakes…?” She shrugs, trying to cheer me up.

We reach Niall’s house, the warmth from the fire in the living room warming our clamped hands.  Everyone’s either sitting at the table or in the kitchen, eating breakfast.  Everyone looks at us as we walk in, specifically at me.  I assume they all heard, and put on a straight face.

Molly automatically picks up a plate, and I sit down next to Hannah. Everyone’s there but Louis, and Harry’s on my other side. He looks at me, confused and concerned.

“Eat something.”

“I don’t want anything.”

He stands up and gets me a glass of orange juice and toast, setting it down in front of me.

“How’s he acting?” I ask, not making eye contact, rotating the cup in my hands.

“He’s hungover, quiet. Angry.” I raise my eyebrows and let out a small, sarcastic laugh. I keep spinning the cup in my hands, tears starting to fill my eyes as everything replays in my mind.

“Hey.” He stops me from turning the cup, causing me to look up at him.  ”Just talk to him, sort things out, it’ll all be okay.” I give a small smile at his effort to comfort me and a few tears fall down my face, Harry wiping them away with his thumbs.

“You can’t guarantee that.” He has no response, so he presses his lips together apologetically.

The rest of the day was spent watching movies and laying in bed. I didn’t talk to Louis at all. The whole day I had a headache, sulked, and barely moved. I repeatedly checked my phone, but no one felt the need to contact me.

In the morning I wake up early due to my long sleep the day before and my intermittent naps between doing nothing. I spend the morning flipping through t.v channels until Molly finally wakes up.

“Harry said he was going to text you early yesterday.”

“I don’t even know where my phone is right now.”

“Well go find it, it probably has something to do with Louis.”

It takes me about thirty minutes to find my phone due to my lack of motivation, and when I do, I have a text from Harry.

Harry: can you and Molly come over sometime today?

i guess so…
