PETER'S POV
I woke up with a headache. "I wonder what happened with Venom?" I wondered. I got up and got myself food, turning on the news.
"In other news, there was a 10 year old boy returned to his mother late last night after being the host to the symbiotic creature known as Venom. This creature still has not been found, but Tony Stark says this never would've happened without Spiderman informing him of the crisis..."
I turned off the news, satisfied. I finished my food and called Wade, wondering if he wanted to have another fun day out. He happily accepted, hanging up.
I ran to my room and got dressed, leaving a note for my parents. I left the tower and met him halfway, smiling when I finally found him.
"WADE!" I yelled, running into his arms and hugging him tight. "I missed you."
He chuckled, kissing me. "You saw me only, like, two days ago." He said.
"Still..." I blushed, taking his hand and leading him around the city. We didn't get back to the tower until it was dark, smiling and laughing when we got through the door.
We ran up to my room, closing the door behind us. I sighed, looking at my feet. "What's wrong baby?" Wade asked, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"I have to go back to school tomorrow. What if I get beat up again?"
"You won't. Flash is suspended for longer than you, and now he knows not to mess with you because you'll defend yourself. Plus, you have a mercenary for a boyfriend." He smiled, making finger guns. I laughed, kissing him.
"Thanks Wade." I mumbled, lying down on the bed. He came up behind me and started spooning me. I blushed, setting my alarm for the morning and quickly falling asleep.
The next day, I woke up and slammed the alarm onto the floor, turning it off. I turned and kissed Wade, maneuvering out of his arms and getting ready for school. I left him a note and walked out of the front door, making my way to school.
I walked to home room, sighing as I sat down. Once people started filing into the room, I got a lot of comments.
"Thanks for standing up to Flash," someone said. "He was a real douche." another person commented. I smiled, accepting the thanks that kept coming my way. All day long, people kept confronting me and thanking me for getting him suspended.
I made my way home after the bell rang, rushing to try and catch Wade. I had told him to stay there all day so I could see him when I got back. When I got back, I dumped my stuff on the couch and ran up to my room. I was greeted by my energetic boyfriend, kissing me hard on the lips. "How was school?" He asked, sitting on the bed.
"People kept thanking me for getting Flash suspended." I said. "It was weird."
"See? You didn't need to worry." He said, smiling. He kissed me and got up, heading for the door.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"I got work." He said. "Speaking of which, you should probably go on patrol."
I agreed, suiting up. We left together, but we went out separate ways once he got to his meet up spot with his target or whatever he told me.
After a lazy patrol, I swung home and sighed contentedly, taking off the suit. I ran my fingers over the old scars on my wrist, making me think back to... not even a couple of months ago. I smiled, silently thanking Wade and crawling into bed. I quickly fell asleep, thinking of my boyfriend.
