This fanart isn't just a fanart. It's dedicated to Lauren Liu, a girl at my school who took her own life on October 30, 2017. The experience shattered the hearts of many people in my community, and as I wasn't a part of the high school at the time I wasn't able to give back to her in the way I felt I needed to. Now, I am a freshman on the anniversary of this tragedy, and even though this art isn't to the best of my ability, I was hoping to convey the feelings of abandonment and loss that I experienced then and in my own life.
Rest well, Lauren. We all miss you. And to anyone out there who thinks they are alone, please remember you will be found.
