Chapter 28
Monday
I knew something was weird that morning. I snuggled in closer to Tyler to where my face was in the crook of his neck. Tyler tightened his grip around me like he knew something was wrong. I brought my right hand up and under my cheek.
“Will you two get up already!” I heard my mom yell
Tyler and I immediately woke up and sat up. Didn’t help that Tyler was shirtless and I was in a tank top. The look on my mother’s face was in complete disgust.
“Mom what the hell are you doing in my house?!” I yelled
“Bringing my grandson home from his doctor’s appointment.” She replied
“You what?” Tyler asked
“Mom, Tyler was supposed to do that.” I responded
“Well he wasn’t up.” She replied
“I set my alarm for 6am and now it’s off.” Tyler told us
“Mom get out before I call the cops because this time you have gone too far!” I shouted
“Fine.” She replied without a fight and ran downstairs and drove off
I walked downstairs to find my soon but he wasn’t there. I looked in every room calling out his name.
“Tyler please tell me Travis is with you!” I shouted
“I thought he was with you.” He shouted back
“Oh God, oh God, oh God!” I yelled as I ran back up the stairs
“Travis!” Tyler shouted
“She has him Ty!” I screamed
“I know and we will get him back. Now why don’t you go call her and try to calm her down.” Tyler told me
“What are you going to do?” I asked
“Go look for a very good lawyer.” He answered walking away
I walked into our room and grabbed my cell phone and dialed my mother’s number. The phone began to ring. I waited until she answered.
(Doing this part in script form, trying something new. Tell me if you like it.)
Mom: Hello?
Me: Mom where is my son?
