I sat in the pilot seat and (Y/N) sat beside me.
" So... what's the plan?"
" Were going to get everyone's light back! No matter what! We will protect the City!"
She smiled her cheeks turning rosy! I couldn't help but smile back! I missed her being with me! Her strawberry scent her bright smile!
We slowly approached the moon and landed near the Temple where Eris had lived in the tunnels...
" So do u have any idea how we're going to find theses things?"
(Y/N) asked as we got out the ship and slowly made our way down to the entrance.
" By my scanners, I can track the Eaters by the Light it took from the Guardians."
My ghost said a little too enthusiastically...
" ...Oh..."
Was all (Y/N) mouthed as we walked through the giant arch! Slow growls came from deeper in the tunnels and I shared a look with (Y/N)...
" Got ur freeze grenades?"
I asked, she nodded and we walked into a room full of normal HIVE. Fighting our way past shot after shot! We finally managed to get through the onslaught of them.
" That...hfffhff... was a... hff... piece of... phew... cake!"
(Y/N) huffed our trying to regain her breath. I smiled and shoved her playfully she smiled back and laughed! For a moment I forgot we were in the tunnels of an army of murderous creators who seek to see our guts spilled on the floor! For a moment it felt like it was just me and her.. her smile made me feel light headed as she finally continued onto the next room...
I stopped her...
" Hey... (Y/N)...."

Cayde stopped me before I could walk through the next door...
" Hey... (Y/N)... Umm look I know that u probably don't remember... but uhh u were my girlfriend... once and-"
At the word Girlfriend my vision started to blur and my head ache
I stumbled into the plaza of what looked like a small farm village. My heart raced as I looked around, Cayde stood his hands on my past selfs shoulders his expression full of worry and guilt!
" No! U can't go back out there! I can't lose u again!"
" Why do u care?!"
" BECAUSE I LOVE U!"
Cayde screamed that last part and my past self stood, shocked...
" Cayde.. I love u too!"
My self reached onto her toes and rapped her hands around his neck as Cayd gentle kissed her.
" Soooooo r u my girlfriend now? Or do I need some special license for that?"
My self laughed and continued to kiss Cayde. I could see the love in both their eyes! I felt a new feeling towards Cayde... it was strong and powerful and... loving!
I snapped back to reality and Cayde gave me a worried glance,
" U ok? U kinda snapped out there for a-"
I pulled him into a hug and kissed him on the cheek! I don't know why but it felt right! He smiled at me,
" Soooo does this mean ur my girlfriend orrr... do I need a license for that?"
I laughed,
" U already used that joke Cayde! I think u gotta step up ur game!"
He looked shocked for a moment but then regained himself and held my hand as we strode through the next tunnel!
The room was pitch black and the darkness made me feel claustrophobic! Cayde squeezed my hand and his optics glowed in the dark! It was kinda comforting. Our ghosts made some torch light for us so we could see a little better!
" Ewww!"
I groaned as I heard something crunch under my feet. My ghost shone its light where I was looking and I let out a small squeal!
We Were Walking On HIVE Eggs!!
Cayde gasped but slowly reached for me once again as we tried to scan more of the area! Nothing but eggs for miles!
" What could have laid such big eggs?"
I whispered to Cayde, but before he could even reply something answered it for him. Slowly torches in the room started to light themselves and HIVE perched on every corner of the room, and in front of us sitting on a giant throne was A HUGE GLOWING WHITE SMOKEY MONSTER!
" We are soooo screwed!"
