Hoyeon's POV

I don't want to think what it means, but I still did.

I pushed him away. "What kind of scream?" I said, trying to sound innocent, like I don't know what it really means. He smirked. "You know what it means."

I stick out my tongue at him and entered our classroom. I walked my way back to my seat with a frown on my face. When I was finally comfortable, my phone buzzed.

Jisoo🌷

Everything okay?

Seeing his face made my day worse

I'll make sure you wont see his face when we go home

Send him in hell and i would be

🎶feeling just fine, fine, fine🎶

Anyway, you should stop texting me, we're in class

Aight

I closed my phone and diverted my gaze to the board. I shrugged Jisung's words off my head so I can focus on the lesson.

At last, it was finally dismissal. The only shit I'm gonna deal with is Jisung. I just hope I don't pass by him when I'll walk home.

"Hey, you gonna head down?" Jisoo said, pointing at the door. I shook my head. "I'll be down when all the students leave." She nodded. "Make sure to follow, okay?"

I gave her a thumbs up, and it was her cue to leave. My classmates suddenly disappeared one by one, exiting our classroom. After how many minutes of waiting, I looked at my wrist watch and it was already 3:56.

I stood up and wore my bag. I texted Jisoo first that I'll head to the infirmary to get back my shirt. I went to my destination and greeted Ms. Anita when I got in. "Good afternoon, Ms. Anita."

"Oh, I thought you left already." She said and handed my shirt. "Here you go. I dried that up a bit. Is that okay with you?" I nodded. "Thank you, Ms. Anita."

"No problem, Hoyeon." She smiled and I also threw one at her. "I have to head home now, Ms. Anita. Thank you!" I said and left the infirmary. I gripped my shirt towards me and continued to walk home.

I was gonna turn right when I heard familiar voices. I looked around and my only hiding place was on the staircase. I rushed towards the staircase and hid on the other side.

"Where do you wanna go today?" Jisung's voice echoed through the empty hallway. "Aw, you already asked me out yesterday~. How about we go to the arcade today?" Sooji's voice replied.

"Really? You would do that for me?" I scoffed at Jisung's reply. "Of course! You like playing games, don't you? Come on!" Shoes clicking on the tiled floor made its way through my ears.

After that was silence. Are they gone? No. "Jisung, what are you do--" I peeked a little and saw that Jisung kissed Sooji.

My head started to hurt. I gripped my hair and tried to let the pain pass away, but it wouldn't. I suddenly felt like I was suffocated and I couldn't breathe normally.

Thankfully, my head ache subsided. Remembering what I was here for, I looked at their direction again to see them looking at each other, Sooji staring at him, in love as shit and Jisung.. fake.

"I love you." Sooji said and placed a peck on Jisung's cheek. "Come on, we're taking so long in here." Jisung chuckled and their footsteps became softer and softer until I couldn't hear it anymore.

I went out my hiding place and laughed. "That was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my entire life!" I shouted, my voice booming across the hallway. It's okay, I'm alone.

I arranged my bag's strap and walked out of the school. I reached the bus stop when the rain suddenly poured. I sighed heavily. "Why now?" A bus pulled in in front of us, so I rushed in first.

A few drops of water were on me, but that was fine. I found a seat near the middle in the very back, so I occupied it. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and I suddenly had a message from Jisoo.

Jisoo🌷

Are you on your way home?

Sorry, i have to leave first. It was starting to rain earlier.

Its fine

Im inside the bus and on my way back

Oh okay

I'll tell jihoon to fetch you there

No, im okay

He might be busy

Busy my ass

Hes like your father and hes here walking around concerned as fuck

Hmm

I'll tell him

You dont need to

Whatevs hes still gonna do it

He'll be in the usual bus stop

Alright

After a few minutes inside the bus, it came into a halt in front of the bus stop Jisoo mentioned. I saw Jihoon outside, an umbrella beside him. When he saw me, he opened the umbrella and ran near the door.

I slowly walked down until I was under the same umbrella as Jihoon. "Let's go." He said, smiling. I pouted. "Don't smile like that. It's raining hard and we're having a hard time here." He just laughed at my remark.

I rolled my eyes and I told him to start walking. "Why me first?" He asked and pointed at himself.

"You're the one holding the umbrella."

"But, you can go first, can you?"

"The rain will hit me! Use your mind, not your brain."

"Lol. What is that?" I snatched away the umbrella from him and walked. "Hey!" I heard him calling from behind me, but I continued on walking. He suddenly hit me and stole the umbrella from me.

"Look, there's water on my clothes!" Jihoon complained. I looked at him boredly and held the umbrella, trying to pull it away from him again. He looked down on his hand, making me look at it too.

I pulled back my hand when I saw that it was on top of Jihoon's. I felt my face hot. I don't know what's with me that I looked at Jihoon. He flashed a grin so I looked away, biting my tongue in the process.

"Ow." I muttered to myself and covered my mouth with a hand. "Hey, is there something wrong?" I shook my head and elbowed him. "Let's just go. The rain is getting heavier."

"Alright." He said and the heat of my face worsened when I felt Jihoon's arm snaked through my waist, pulling me near him. "But, come closer."
