[Minji's P.O.V]

I turn just in time to see one of the wolves lunging for me. But suddenly, Hyunjin is in front of me, pulling me back, and so is Jisung, pushing both of us away. Hyunjin and I fall to the ground, Hyunjin dropping his machete so it doesn't cut us. The wolf doesn't touch me. It sinks its teeth into Jisung's thigh, tearing off as much of it as it can.

"NO!" Hyunjin shrieks as he grabs a large stick next to him and forcefully swings it upward, whacking the wolf creature in the head. The wolf instantly releases Jisung's leg from its jaw, shaking off its head a bit and stumbling backward.

This whole ordeal has given me time to uncap the bottle of rubbing alcohol, stand up, and dump it in a long line in front of us, curving slightly to the sides around us.

"Hwiyoung, drop your torch here!"

"Why??"

"Hwiyoung, NOW!"

Hwiyoung tosses his stick, which is still on fire, onto the line of wet leaves in front of us. Hyunjin must have caught onto my idea because he pulls Jisung back just in time as the entire row of leaves in front of us goes up in flames.

The wolves whimper and rear up on their hind legs in their scramble to back up, which, let me tell you, is the scariest thing I've ever seen, considering they're my height when they're down on all fours.

Chaeyoung uses this as a chance to get her bow out - she catches one when it's on its hind legs, sending an arrow flying into its stomach. The thing screeches as it falls backward, squirming around on the ground. The other two start to retreat, but Chaeyoung is fast, and she shoots one in the neck, and one in the thigh, sending another arrow through its chest once it falls.

I half except three cannons to go off for the mutant creatures, but none do.

"Guys, the fire is spreading! Help me push this log over it!" Hwiyoung calls out. Hyunjin moves Jisung out of the way before helping Hwiyoung, Chaeyoung and me to roll the log over to the fire, smothering it in an instant.

I feel the first drop of rain fall on my shoulder not a moment after the last of the flames is extinguished.

"Of course, just our luck," I mutter.

"Guess they didn't want to risk their arena going up in flames," Hwiyoung shrugs.

"They could have re-built it. They just want us to get wet," Chaeyoung looks up before flipping off the sky. I swat her arm down.

"Stop it, Chae, rain means water. This is a gift. Get the canteen's out, we can let them fill up," I remind her.

Chaeyoung starts to take out the canteens I received from Cloud9 a few days ago. It's only now, in the absence of chaos, with the soothing sounds of the rain against the canopy of leaves above us, that I realize something is seriously wrong. Hyunjin and Jisung haven't spoken.

"Guys," Hyunjin says, his voice shaky. My head swivels down to where he's squatting next to Jisung who is slumped against a tree, his eyes half closed and his face pale. I don't even dare to look at his leg.

"Oh my god, Jisung," I quickly drop next to him, my hand shooting to my mouth.

"Wait, what's going on- oh, shit!" Chaeyoung gasps and so does Hwiyoung as the two of them kneel down with us.

"Y-You guys need to go," Jisung mumbles, to which all of us shake our heads. "I'm serious," he insists, "I want you guys to-"

"Jisung, shut the fuck up," Hyunjin tells him sternly, "you know we aren't leaving you. So shut up."
