"Butch what the actual fuck?!"
I stepped into our home in Rivet City, seeing him sitting criss-crossed on our mattress, stuffing sweet rolls in his mouth. He spoke with full cheeks, frowning, "What?"
"How the hell did you find those?!"
He swallowed the mouthful and pulled out another, "I got a nose for 'em, babe." He winked, "Don't worry, you're still the sweetest thing I've found."
I frowned, yanking the box from his lap, "Don't try to use flattery on me, you little devil! How did you know where I put these?"
He shrugged, "You put it with your diary and stuff. You really thought I wouldn't notice 'em?"
"I hid them from you! Specifically you!"
"Uh-huh. I know! You knew I wouldn't look in plain sight and I knew you thought you knew that, so I looked in plain sight, and bam! They were on top of the fridge!" He took a chunk out of the Sweet Roll left in his hand, finishing it off, "Also, you got some damn interesting ideas in the journal of yours. What's that thing with the Mutfruit about?"
I rolled my eyes, "It's just a stupid kink rumor this kid in Little Lamplight told me about. Didn't believe him so I wrote it down so I could look into it." Butch smiled, leaning back on the bed and putting his hands above his head. I watched the hem of his shirt rise just enough to show a bit of skin above his jeans. He smiled coyly at me, "You wanna try somethin' new, that's all you gotta say."
I scoffed, blushing and shoving my stuff back up on the fridge, "What else did you learn from your 'readings'?"
He smirked, "Not completely sure, but I think you got a little bit of a crush on me."
