"What the hell, Lance?!" the boy grits his teeth as another boy struts his way over. A woman follows not far behind.

At this point I noticed Shiro, Pidge and Jaidak are no longer in the room.

'When did they leave?'

"What?" The tanned boy in a green jacket questions loudly.

"Will you be quite? You're scaring her" the violet eyed boy glares.

"The poor thing looks terrified" the woman with pointed ears and pink markings beneath her eyes says.

"I was just about to gain her trust when Lance decided to ruin it" The boy continues to glare at the boy know as Lance.

"Hey Allura, why don't you try and lure her out?" Lance laughed.

They ignore him and Allura turns to the boy in front of me.

"Keith, do you think you can gain her trust enough to get her into the castle? She can't stay in the Red Lion" Allura asks.

"I can try, but I think it's better to do it one on one with no distractions" Keith suggests, eyeing Lance with distaste.

"You're right, that would give us the best results. Come on Lance, let's leave him to it" Allura agrees.

"No fair, why does Keith get to do it!?" Lance protests loudly, causing me to release another frightened whimper.

"Because you're clearly too loud" Keith answers in annoyance.

Allura manages to drag Lance out of the room and I am left alone with Keith. He adjusts his position and sits with his legs crossed. I watch as he does the same action as before, holding his hand out in front of me. I proceed with caution and take in his scent. He smells like Shiro and Pidge, but there's something different. Like there's something lying dormant within him. For some reason his scent draws me in and I find myself trusting him, much to my surprise.

'Why do I feel so drawn to him?'

My instincts take over and I stand up and move closer to him. My nose is now only a centre meter away from his as I stare into his captivating orbs with curiosity. His eyes widen slightly, not expecting me to come so close. He doesn't say anything as I place my head against his chest, breathing in his alluring scent. He tenses slightly, but soon relaxes and puts a hand atop of my head.

3rd Person POV

Lance, Shiro, Hunk, Pidge and Allura stare wide eyes at the footage from the Red Lion. They watch as the Wolf Shifter takes a liking to Keith quicker than expected.

"She barely let us touch her back on the ship" Pidge says with shock.

"What makes Keith so special?" Lance says with a touch of jealousy.

"Maybe he gives off a safe aura? Animals tend to get attached to those they feel safe with" Shiro suggests.

"She's not just an animal though, she can take on a humanoid form" Allura informs.

"The instincts are still there though, right? Just like a normal Wolf" Hunk asks.

"I suppose that's true. Maybe Shiro's right" Allura agrees.

Y/N POV

"You're more trusting than I expected you to be" he says while combing a hand through my matted fur, loosening some of the strands.

I release a content sigh as he continues the soothing motion. He smiles to himself, enjoying the feel of my fur against his hand.

"Why don't we get you some food and water?" He questions and my tail sways at the thought.

He chuckles slightly and rises to his feet, taking a step back to give me room. I hesitate for a tick, before taking a few cautious steps out of my hiding place.

"See? It's not so bad, is it?" He points out, walking towards the door, patiently waiting for me to follow.

I slowly follow him into unfamiliar hallways. We take a few turns before reaching a room with a long table, accompanied by a large amount of chairs. As I survey the new environment, I don't notice him leave the room. I am pulled out of my thoughts when he re-enters holding two bowls, one filled with a green substance and the other a clear liquid. I recognise the liquid as water, however the green substance is unfamiliar to me.

"It tastes better than it looks" he assures, placing the bowls in front of me.

I lap up some of the water quickly before turning my attention to the "food". I bring my nose towards it and smell it, but find that it has no scent. I look at the substance with curiosity and give it a taste. It doesn't have the best taste, but it's better than starving. I ignored the poor taste and devour the bowl's contents.

"Well that didn't last long" he jokes.

I wag my tail happily and lick his hand as a thank you. He smiles and pats my head in return. However, we are interrupted when a group of people slowly enter the room. I hide myself behind Keith, feeling strangely safe around him.

"Now that you're more settled, I think it's time we talked, Wolf Shifter" Allura speaks up with a gentle smile.
