Me and Daniel found ourselves beside the food table, snacking on the food provided. We were quietly watching Aaron and Aphmau dance, which was certainly amusing to watch. Neither of us really knew anyone, so we stuck by each other's side. We chatted about our classes, then about mindless topics, before settling on talking about our dungeons. I clocked in receiving a few weird looks, but what did they matter?

I smiled at Daniel, laughing as we reminisced about our memories. That was until one of the apparent 'hit songs' that had just come out was blasted out of the speakers. My ears instantly flattened against my head, and I flinched at the sudden loud noise, shrinking a little. Most of the people standing around rushed to the dance floor, leaving me and Daniel at the food table. I felt a hand drop onto my shoulder, and I brought my gaze back up to meet Daniels. My ears were still trying to block out the loud music. I watched as Daniel glanced around the room, his eyes seemed to set on something. With one hand, he grabbed some food off the table, his other hand clinging to my wrist as he bolted out into the hallways.

I nearly tripped but managed to keep my balance until Daniel slowed down. I bumped into him, but he managed to stay standing upright. "D-Daniel? Are you okay?" I asked, slightly huffing at the sudden energy I had used. He didn't answer, but instead began quickly walking down a familiar corridor. He finally came to a stop before a door that looked like any other. He pushed it open, dragging me inside.

And here we were, standing in the English study room from so long ago. It was here that we had learnt that we had been so much closer than we thought. Daniel let go of my wrist, heading toward the table and setting the food down. I wandered over, trying to read his expression.

I realised he had done this for me. He had noticed my reaction to the music and taken me away from it. I felt my cheeks flush. "T-Thank you, Daniel." I moved a piece of stray (h/c) hair away from my face. Daniel turned to me, smiling sweetly. "I figured you didn't like loud music. I don't either. I u-Uhm... thought we could watch funny videos on my phone... or something... only if you want to though!" He began stuttering, avoiding my gaze. I swiftly strode to the door, then sat down beside it. Daniel looked at me, cocking his head to one side. I pat the ground next to me, inviting him to join me. He understood my gesture and sat down beside me, bringing the food with him. "So, what are we gonna watch?" I asked. Daniel smiled at me. "I've got Netflix?" I shook my head at his offer. "I don't wanna use all your data!" I chimed. He huffed. "It's fine (Y/n)! I don't use my data for much anyway. How about we watch (f/m)?"

How could I refuse that?

I nodded vigorously. He loaded it up on his phone and we both began to shuffle to get comfortable. It ended with Daniel leaning against the wall, with me lying my head on his shoulder. Daniel had one knee up, which he rested his hand holding his phone atop. The food was scattered around us, and that's how we stayed.

3rd Person POV

Both teens watched the movie, laughing and making jokes. They were sure they heard FC and Shu walk past at some point, but they were too enthralled with the movie to care.
