CHAPTER 28: Sophie

                                    

                                          
I can't believe that my dad, brother and my mate are all out fighting and helping Rosemary, while I'm stuck here keeping an eye on Jenny who started all of this. 
                          
I don't know but something just doesn't sit right with me about her. Something feels a little off. Which reminds me, I guess I should probably go check on her in the living room. I head out from my dad's office However, when I get to the living room and notice Jenny isn't in here, I begin to worry as I feel something isn't right.
                          
I begin heading towards the kitchen and still, nothing. I end up searching almost all over the entire castle and still couldn't find her. That is, not until I hear her voice coming from upstairs in Peter's bedroom and it sounds like she's talking to someone. But the more I get closer and closer towards the room, I can hear that she's doing a chant of some sort and it doesn't seem like it's good neither. 
                          
"May thee who sleeps with him in bed, 

                          
  Let them perish in sorrow and dread

                          
  Let the sight of them disgust

                          
  The very eyes that once saw her with lust
  May the memories fade very fast
  Then let their love become their past"
                          
I hear her finishing and quickly swing open the bedroom door and find her getting ready to sprinkle red dust onto the bed.
                          
"What the hell are you doing?!" I asked. 
                          
She jumps back and looks at me scared. 
                          
"Sophie! You scared me. Haven't you heard of knocking?" She asks trying to sound like she's joking when really we both know she's not. 
                          
"Haven't you heard of intruding and trespassing?" I asked her. "what the hell are you doing in my brother's room and what were you chanting?" 
                          
"Oh nothing. Just something to give to Peter and his mate as a gift." She smirks. 
                          
I quickly walk up to her and knock the bottle of whatever she was getting ready to use to sprinkle all over the bed, out of her hand, shattering the glass bottle all over the floor. 
                          
"You are gonna pay for that! I know exactly what you're up to and EXACTLY what you were chanting." I call her out. 
                          
"Oh really? And what exactly is it that you heard?" She asks me. 
                          
"I know it had to do with you putting a hex or spell of some sort to be sure and break up Peter and Rosemary, but it'll never happen, do you hear me? And when him and my parents both find out what you were just now trying to do, you'll be judged by the council and I'm sure that you won't like the results." I assure her. 
                          
"No one will ever believe you." She says. 
                          
The next thing I do is try and grab her next but instead, the bitch stops me and with some type of force, was able to throw me out the door making me hit the wall across the hall really hard and landing really hard onto the hardwood floor. 
                          
I yelp in pain and grab my arm as I know it's broken. I struggle to get up and as soon as I'm up on my feet, she's already right in my face and the next thing I see is all darkness. 
                          


                          
My eyes feel really heavy as I start to open them slowly and feel very weak. While looking around at where I'm at, I can tell I'm not in the castle anymore but instead, it's a dark cold place where the only light are from the flames from tall thick candles that are placed all over the room as its light bounces of the deep red and black stone walls. 
                          
I then notice that both of my hands are tied together above my head and my ankles also tied down to whatever I'm lying down on.
                          
I begin to see a big group of people in dark red robes with a symbol that I remember seeing on the wall at our house earlier. Their heads were all bowed down as their heads were covered by the big hood along with the rest of their bodies covered by the large robes they were wearing.
                          
Oh my god, please tell me this isn't a satanic thing. Oh my god. I see out the corner of my eye, Jenny walking into the room and right up to me with a devilish grin on her face. I try to struggle myself free from the rope but to no avail. 
                          
"What the fuck is going on?" I ask her trying hard not to show the fear I was feeling right now. "Are you going to sacrifice me?" I ask her. 
                          
"Oh no. We don't do things like that. Those are cults, which is different. No, instead, we're going to make an example out of you." She grins. "And don't bother trying to mind-link with anyone, here you will not be able to with the fact that we have injected your body to make you a little 'out-of-it' we'll say." She chuckles. 
                          
Then right as I start to feel the stuff she just told me about was when I noticed the man that was standing across from Jenny on the other side of me, was her father.
