Violet arrived home and immediately went to her room. She demanded that Friday not let anyone inside and to keep her father from calling.

Getting out another canvas, she stared at it for a second. All the words she yelled at Peter, and everything he didn't say.

Everything she heard.

Kiss her.

Violet clenched her fist and punched the canvas. The easel toppled over and Violet threw the paint at the wall. The paint splattered in six different colors across the wall, mixing together to make some kind of odd mess.

Taking a deep breath, she walked over to the kitchen and pulled out some milk from the fridge. As she went to grab a glass, she heard knocking from the door.

Using her magic, she was able to create a tablet that looked directly outside.

Peter Parker. As soon as he got home from the bus, he begged May to let him go to Violet's apartment. May was hesitant, but once she saw the heartbroken look in his eyes, she realized he needed to see her.

"Violet, please let me in... I need to talk to you." Peter said softly as he looked at the door.

She almost stomped away, but he called out, "I can hear you. I know you're there and that you're listening."

Rolling her eyes, she stopped and turned to look at the door. She debated on what to do, and waited for him to talk.

Peter leaned his head on the door. "Look, Violet." He caught himself almost calling her that nickname. "I know I screwed up. I know that I wasn't the person you thought I was... I just wanted to prove myself ya know. Prove that I could be as amazing as Veritas or Tony Stark.

"The city knows me now, but it feels like... it feels like you left. Well, you did leave, but like... it's like your gonna leave. It's almost as if you've already moved away yet you're here... look what I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry for disappointing you. But I'm not sorry for how it turned out."

Violet found herself at the door, and rested her head on it. She bit her lip as he spoke, and with every word, she drew tempted to open the door. She wanted to let him in.

But she didn't.

"Please just... just open the door." Peter begged. He heard her right on the other side of the door and closed his eyes.

Violet sighed and pulled her hand away from the knob.

Stepping away, she crossed her arms and cried silently before heading to her room. Peter knew that she had left. But he sat with his back facing the apartment for another five minutes before going back to his room.

Peter Parker did not want to lose Violet. Not until he had to let her go officially. Yeah, he made a connected with Liz. But he made that connection as Spider-Man, not himself.

Peter realized then that he would always have feelings for Violet no matter how hard he tried to hide them with his crush on Liz. And Violet realized something as she sat in her room while staring at her journal that contained a drawing of Peter. She realized that she too had fallen for the Spider-boy.

And she had no idea how to handle it.

For years, Violet was shut off from the world. The only link she had was with Coulson. He helped the six of them see outside and have a feeling of what normal was. He convinced Fury to let them try online school where they got multiple degrees throughout the years.

He was the first person to get her a journal.

But none of them experienced what falling for someone was like. All they knew was friendship and family.
