{Lance's POV}
                          
I could realize Keith was in deep thought. He kept on zoning out and then quickly glance at me. I huff as I turn around to look at Keith. He turns slowly as he looks at me. We lock eyes, I could feel my cheeks get hot "what's wrong?" Keith shifted uncomfortably "well... I- it's just-... never mind" I raise a brow, I float towards him and grab him arms for support "It's alright. I'm here to listen, just tell me what's on your mind" I give him a reassuring smile "Well... its so confusing, why would you risk your life? To try find me? Well  follow me? You could of got lost or drifted off by yourself in space?! And I for sure wouldn't want to be the reason you got lost or worse?! Died?!" He looked stressed. I sigh "Keith. I came because if you drifted off or died I would blame myself. I would be the reason something happened to you. I think when I yelled at you I just felt confused and i think I was getting space madness..." Keith looked away, he looked pleased but also... angry? "Lance. You didn't have too, I knew you were just trying to protect your girlfriend" I felt something in my throat. "W-what? Allura and I are not an item" Keith looked surprised then looked down "oh. So I'm guessing... you like her?" I nod my head in disagreement "No. i don't. What makes you think that?" He opened his mouth to say something but then he closed it and bit his lip "Just tell me. It's not like I'll judge you" Keith breathes in "Because you're always around her. You're always flirting with her. You two just have this kind of bond that... doesn't make you want to intrude, and before I came back... when I called the castle... I saw that you and allura were hugging- and it looked like you guys finished... kissing. It made my heart feel something... something I never felt. And when I left I thought...- you know what? Forget it- it doesn't matter"  his soft expression turns into a cold glance as he stares blankly into space "Keith... intrude? What do you mean? Does that mean-" Keith quickly glanced at me "It doesn't matter, drop it-" I rolled my eyes "Keith. You can't let this go, this is something we need to talk about-" Keith snapped "LANCE! Stop. It. What I'm feeling doesn't occur to you" I felt the lump in my throat "Actually it does! You know how I felt when you 'ran away' from us? From your problems? From Voltron? From your family? Friends? Me?!" My voice cracked when I said the last three words "It hurt! It's just- quiznak!" Keith looked hurt but he shook the feeling off "Ran away?! That's what you think it was?! I didn't run away. I left! Cause if I didn't! You wouldn't be piloting a lion! You wanna know why you wouldn't be piloting a lion? Allura! And i thought if I left maybe red will see the good I see in you and choose you! And guess what? Red chose you! Your welcome" he turned his back to me "Your welcome? YOUR WELCOME?! Yeah it would suck to not pilot a lion but I would rather have you stay with us in the beginning than you leaving! If you left because you thought no one cared guess what? I cared!" Keith jeered, he turned quickly "really?! Funny of you to say. I'm glad I left! Cause whenever I was around the group I was the loner! The emo! Pidge Hunk and you, Shiro and Allura and sometimes Coran! Everyone fit together! And i?!... was the missing puzzle piece..." he put his arms around himself. I felt the sudden guilt in my stomach and i felt something in my throat. I knew if i said something i might- i might... cry "Keith..." I  tried to put my hand on his shoulder. He moves a little more "Don't." I looked away. I look at him with hurt as his back was facing towards me. I sighed, I seen something floating in my helmet. I look at it to see it was a water droplet. I felt my eyes watering "quiznak." I tried to blink the couple small tears away. I looked away and stayed close to Keith but made sure there was some distance. 
                          
But little did Lance know that Keith saw those little tears... and it hurt Keith to see him like this

"Hunk!" Allura said in a concerned tone "Don't think like that! Keith and Lance will be alright." She tried to sound convincing but she wasn't even sure of her words. "How could we be so sure? What if Keith..." Pidge said looking worried. Allura looked hurt "Enough! We can only hope, negative thoughts will Not come to good use! So stop acting like cowards and get a hold of yourself!" Hunk and Pidge looked at Allura with shock. Hunk breathes in "Thank you allura. Guess I kinda needed that" Pidge lightly laughs "Yeah. Me too, I needed a little 'slap' to the face" they all look at each other and start laughing "Okay. We need to try get back to the lions some how" Hunk said drifting towards them, they nod. They all float in silence then Allura's eyes brighten up "I got it!!" Hunk and Pidge look at her

                          
{back to Keith's pov}
                          
I don't know how long we were floating here but it felt like forever.
                          
I give a quick glance to Lance to see him in the same place but his back was facing towards me. I sigh as I look out into space. 'You messed up pretty bad this time keith' i say to myself "If only I Can say sorry to him" I say thinking to myself "What did you say?" I heard Lance say I turn to him "Wait. You heard that?" I try smack my forehead but Instead I smack the helmet "Stupid." Lance softly chuckles. I look at him with a little blush then I saw his eyes were a little red. I look away "I'm... very sorry" Lance looked shocked "W-wait. You're the one apologizing? Heh." He looked at his floating feet giving a small soft smile "you always know how to one up me. Don't you" I smile "Hmmm. No. Not really." He laughs "guess the samurai isn't as good as I thought he was" I smile "Same goes for you Sharpshooter" then I look down "what is it?" Lance said looking at me "I didn't mean to snap at you. I guess I'm just not used to telling people how I feel" his eyes softly furrow "No. No, it was me. I pushed it to far" I warmly smile as I float towards him "But really" I put my hand on his shoulder "I'm really sorry" His cheeks were a bit red "I'm sorry too" he says looking at me "Maybe we should try-"
