Meeting the dark Lord

                                    

                                          
Now James and Peter are joining the dl (dark lord) 
Disclaimer: I mean no disrespect to emos in this chapter. I used to be an emo. I still am a little emo. Emos, you rule. 
(I'm not changing this chapter though) 
                          
Severus Snape tiptoed across the floor, and beckoned James and Peter towards him, one finger pressed against his lips, the universal signal for keep it down. James and Peter clomped after him,  managing to set off every single squeaky floorboard as they did so. Luckily they didn't awaken Remus and Sirius who were snuggled up together in Sirius's bed, bros for life. 
                          
The three boys were heading down to the Forbidden Forest, where Severus had arranged a meeting for Peter and James and D.L (who was going through an emo phase and wanted an edgy nickname). It was cold and dark outside, much like D.L's soul, and he sat on an uncomfortable tree stump   trying to write poetry. 
Eventually, the three schoolboys arrived, and D.L gave a dramatic sigh. 
                          
Not to be out emo-ed, Sev gave an even more dramatic one. 
D.L was NOT going to stand for that, so he took an extremely deep breath, and sighed for all he was worth, which was rather impressive actually. Sev knew he would never beat it, but nevertheless he took a deep breath in, and sighed. 
                          
On a normal day that would not have been enough- but luckily James was a supportive boyfriend, and quietly cheered him on in the background, so by sheer chance, Sev won.
                          
D.L felt very upset at this, and wondered if this counted as child abuse. He wasn't technically a child, but there were children involved so... 
Peter stepped forward nervously, and bowed. 
"Oh D.L," he said, (Sev had told him about the nickname)
"I pledge my alliance to you, may I join your army and get a cool emo tattoo?"
D.L hummed pretentiously, and examined his fingernails. They were bitten (of course) and painted black (obviously), and looked very much like the fingernails of an emo. This pleased the D.L, and he gave Peter one of his dark stares. 
                          
"What's your name, boy!" He asked in a grammatically incorrect way (there should have been a question mark) for he was so emo he did not care about grammar. 
Peter hesitated- Peter wasn't exactly an emo name, it was quite lame, and reminded him of that moustached guy in Deadpool 2 that he somehow knew about despite it not coming out for another fifty years or so. 
"Wormtail!" He said, and D.L gave another pretentious hum. 
"Well.." he pondered, pulling out his black lipstick and smearing it on his lips
"That is a quite emo-ey name... you may get a cool emo-ey tattoo and join my army." 
                          
Peter grinned to himself, and decided that he would like to be called Wormtail from then on, but this is not My Immortal, name changes confuse me, and I shan't allow it. But then Peter thought about how nicknames aren't technically name changes, and how trans people changing their names is fine, so I shall ponder it for a while. 
                          
Next it was James's turn. He knew that James was not an emo name, nor was Prongs, and he hurriedly tried to think of a new one. 
"Speak child!" Announced D.L in an unnecessarily dramatic and pretentious way, and James blurted out the first name he could think of 
"Gerard Way!"
D.L frowned, 
"You are not Gerard Way," he said, looking at James. 
"Has Gerard Way even been born yet? He must have sent all his music back in time for me to listen to and cry about as I'm sure mcr haven't formed yet- and he's American!" 
Luckily Severus Snape chimed in, and explained that James was actually called Sadness-Cloud, and he was just saying how much he loved Gerard Way who may or may not be born, Gerard Way was born in '77, and the marauders were around in the 70's, but I'm not sure which point and I'm too lazy to google it. 
                          
Now that the ponder session is over, I have decided to refer to Wormtail and Sadness-Cloud as they wish to be referred to, and will skip all of the rest of the meeting because it's not very interesting. D.L gave them all dark mark lollipops, and promised them real dark marks when they turned eighteen, because the law is the law.
