Friendship ... is born at the moment when one man says to another "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . .

XVI | TIME TO DIE

When Reece pulled up to the parking lot of the amusement park, everyone was already there, waiting for us to catch up with them. Landon was checking his hair using the reflection of his car window, whilst Ocean was applying lip gloss to her lips - rubbing them together. Miles was winking at a few girls as they passed, obviously, Ronnie was texting furiously on her phone. Not exactly something unusual. Chase and Laurianne were discussing something quietly together, Zoey had her head in a book and Jake was staring at the sky.

Weird people, I thought as me and Reece got out from his car, moving towards them.

"Ugh, there you guys are, we've been waiting for hours!" Landon exclaimed dramatically, looking at himself one last time in the mirror before turning to us.

Zoey frowned, "they were literally like two minutes behind us moron," she said, rolling her eyes and closing her book, putting it into her carry on bag.

I like this girl already.

"Can we get going, I need a tan ASAP," Ocean said, putting on her sunglasses and flicking her red hair.

Ronnie beamed, "same girl, I haven't had one since, like, forever!"

"How about we actually go on the rides first, before you all start coming back looking like Cheese Puffs," Miles said, causing Ocean and Ronnie to glare at him.

Jake sighed, "Can we please get going, I don't want to wait long in the line." We all nodded in agreement, making our way towards the direction of the line.

"Ladies," Miles smirked, flexing his muscles for some girls, who giggled as we waited in the line. Landon also winks at some of them as well. I wonder how Jake, Reece, Ocean, and Zoey even out up with these two.

Don't guys ever get tired of being flirts, or rather, just being plain annoying?

I realized Reece hadn't muttered a single word yet, so I looked up at him and gently touched his shoulder. "You okay?" I asked.

He looked down at me and smiled, wrapping his arm around me, "Yup," was all he said.

After about ten minutes waiting, we finally entered the amusement park.

"We have to go on that ride, I heard one guy died from it, isn't that awesome guys!" Landon exclaimed as we all looked up at the biggest ride there.

I saw it advertised once on my television, it's literally called 'Time to Die' and indeed, a guy had died from riding it. I don't know how he died, but I don't really want to find out either.

Ocean snorted, "um no, I'm not dying today okay. I still haven't met one direction," she said.

Laurianne turned to her and raised her eyebrow. "But they broke up."  Ocean fanned her face dramatically to - I guess - prevent herself from crying.

"Ugh, I know, I'm literally about to cry, which is a bad idea, considering I wore makeup that's isn't waterproof today," she stated.

"Can we just pick a ride, I'm gettin' bored," Reece groaned.

"I'm hungry," Miles whined as we all started to walk towards some of the other rides that were there.

"Dude, you literally ate at my house before we came here," Jake said scowling.
