     The next morning came all too soon for Scorpius. First, Albus had woken up before him and basically spammed him back with a million questions. All of which made his heart ache more then it already did. Next, during the middle of breakfast Albus arrived at his house. And finally, he was dragged off too his bedroom for an 'interrogation', as Al had put it.  He hadn't even had a chance to finish eating his toast. 
                          
     "Albus, before you say anything just forget it all. I was wrong I don't like you. And even if I did, we can't be together." Scorpius strained, not making eye contact at all. 
                          
      "But," he paused, not sure what to say next, "you can't just say stuff like that and then try to forget it." Albus said, voice raised. 
                          
     "You tried to do that, why can't I." Scorpius asked back defensively.
                          
     "Because it was before I knew it was mutual!" Al explained loudly. "Can't we just date, or have benefits? Something? We both like each other so why not?" Albus asked, pleading for some sort of physical reciprocation that they did like each other. 
                          
     "But! What if something happens, we could break up. And then what, we stop talking forever. I just don't want to lose you." Scorpius cried, breaking down. He couldn't lose someone else he loved, especially when he could stop it. He had already lost his mother, and he didn't really have very many people left that he cared about. 
                          
     "Listen," Al paused, placing his hand on the other's shoulder, "no matter what, you can't get rid of me. Even if I died, you'd just be stuck with annoying ghost me." Scorpius nodded, wiping his face clear of tears and snot. He's never really been one to cry much, but when he did it was messy. "Are you okay?" 
                          
     "Yeah. I just don't want to lose anyone else." He said softly, leaning into Albus' touch. 
                          
     Soon after Albus was called back to his house, seeing as he never asked if he could go over. In the time the still had together, Albus simply comforted Scorpius. Nothing else really happened at the time.
