Chapter 28: New Year... New Start

                                    

                                          
*Blaire’s POV*
                          
It was now December 31, a week after that very Merry Christmas. Later, we’ll have a New Year countdown party at Liam’s house. I woke up with Niall kissing my cheek over and over again. I opened my eyes and then he kissed my lips and I smiled at him. Yup, he’s my boyfriend now. You might wonder how I moved on so fast about the Zayn incident. I’m still kind of hurt until now but even when Zayn and I were together, there was still a part of my heart that was still with Niall. I know I might sound like an unfaithful girlfriend but when I told Zayn that I loved him, I really did love him. It’s just that, first love never dies, right? Zayn may be my first boyfriend but that doesn’t mean he’s my first love. You get me?
                          
“Good morning, beautiful!” Niall greeted me and then kissed me again. “Get up and get dressed. We’re gonna drop by the grocery store to buy some food for Liam’s party.”
                          
“What time is it?” I asked him.
                          
“11am. We’re gonna grab lunch on the way, then we’ll food shop then we’ll go straight to Liam’s.”
                          
“Since when were you awake?” I noticed that he was fully dressed and ready to go.
                          
“Since 7am. I decided to not wake you up because you looked so peaceful.”
                          
“Since when are you a morning person?” I laughed as I got up.
                          
“Ever since you stopped waking me up in the morning for school.” He pouted and I laughed at him.
                          
I kissed him. “I’m sorry, Baby Nandos. Now, I feel bad about it.” I fake pouted then I walked over to our closet and I picked out my clothes.
                          
“Baby Nandos? That’s my nickname now?” He laughed and I nodded. “Well, that’s just cute.” Then there was a moment of silence. “Blaire...” He trailed off.
                          
“Hmmm?”
                          
“I love you.” He whispered to my ear as he wrapped his arms around me.
                          
I turned around to look at him and then I replied. “I love you too, Niall!” Then he kissed me. After he let go of me, I walked to the bathroom to take a bath and change into my clothes. I decided to wear a black corset top, a peach high-low skirt, and a black bootie. I also added a yellow blazer since it’s still winter. I walked out of the bathroom and Niall was staring at me.
                          
“Damn, you look hot, girl!” He said in the best girly voice he can and I laughed at him.
                          
“Thanks, babe!” I kissed him. “Shall we go now?” He nodded and then we left. We said goodbye to his parents and then we headed to Nando’s to have lunch. This guy really loves Nando’s. He’ll grab every chance he can get to eat here and the £200 worth of gift certificates that I gave him, he used it up the next day. He had Nando’s for dinner and lunch the whole week last week.
                          
After we ate, we went to the grocery store and he started to grab every type of chip as we pass down the aisle.
                          
“Uhh, babe, don’t you think that’s too much?” I asked him as he placed 5 bags of the largest size of Ruffles in the basket. We also had 7 bags of Doritos, 4 bags of Lays with different flavours, 3 bags of Cheetos crunchy and 2 bags of Cheetos flaming hot. Did I mention that it will be just the group at Liam’s house? The party was just for us and no outsiders were allowed.
                          
“Not yet. Let me just grab some Pringles then we’re good to go.” He said as he ran to the next aisle and I pushed the cart over to him and he placed cans of Pringles, one each flavour.
                          
“Ok, that’s it. I’ll head to the counter now and you better follow!” I demanded and he followed. Gosh! Maybe if I did not go food shopping with him, he would end up clearing the whole aisle of chips. Niall paid the cashier and then we stuffed the grocery bags at the back of the car and we headed to Liam’s house. When we got there, everyone was there already, including Zayn.
