Chapter 3: The New Girl

                                    

                                          
*Niall’s POV*
                          
We walked in to our home room after we said goodbye to the others. I sat at my usual seat at the back of the classroom. The seat on my right was empty and on my left was Liam. We were talking about random things while waiting for our teacher.
                          

                          
When the second bell rang, our teacher walked in the door with a girl following behind him and may I say,wow she’s gorgeous!She’s got wavy brunette hair with blue eyes and I’m guessing she’s a new student because she has a school bag with her and her face is not familiar to me. Well, I know that because I’ve been in this school for 3 years already and I know almost everyone.
                          

                          
“Class, this is Kate. She’s a new student so please try to be friendly to her.” Our teacher told us as he walked to his desk. “As for you, Ms. Kate, you can take that empty seat beside Mr. Niall” he continued as he pointed at me and Kate started walking to her seat beside me. Our teacher started to check our attendance then he discussed the same old boring rules and regulations of our school.
                          

                          
“Hi!” She said and she smiled as she sat down next to me.
                          

                          
“Hi! I’m Niall.” I replied trying to be friendly and I smiled at her. “I know you’re new here but do you already have a group of friends, maybe?”
                          

                          
“Actually, I don’t have yet.” She said, looking down.
                          

                          
“Don’t worry you can come with me and my friends during break. I’ll introduce you to them, they’re kind so you don’t have to worry.”
                          

                          
“Thank you so much! You’re very kind” She smiled at me and she’s just so beautiful. I think I like her.
                          

                          
“No problem. Can I see your schedule?”
                          

                          
“Sure, here.” She said as she handed her schedule to me and I checked if we have classes together.
                          

                          
“Awesome, we have the next class together.” I smiled at her as I returned her schedule then we both listened to our teacher. He did not really go in to the details of the rules and regulations because I think he realized that we’re seniors now and that we should know better since we’re in this high school for 4 years already. So he gave us the remaining time to talk to our class mates. I took this chance to introduce Kate to Liam, Louis and Lucy. “Guys, this is Kate, well I think you know her already since she was introduced earlier today. Kate, this is Liam, Louis and Lucy” I pointed at them as I mention their names.
                          

                          
“Hi! It’s nice to meet you!” Kate said and she smiled again. I smiled and stared at her until Liam nudged me in the ribs with his elbow. “Ow! Why did you do that?” I whispered to Liam so I won’t get the others’ attention.
                          

                          
“Well, you were staring at her and you were practically drooling. You like her, eh?” Liam replied.
                          

                          
“I’m not sure, mate. I find her really pretty.”
                          

                          
“Well why don’t you wait for a few days, observe if those feelings would change into something stronger and if they do, you must really like her.” Thedaddyside of Liam came out again.
