I pulled back tears in my eyes. "We will see each other soon." I whispered and stepped back watching him climb onto the boat. 
                          
I frowned seeing him wipe away a stray tear. My heart broke watching the boat head towards the mountain. Did I make the right decision? 
                          
"Rose, you didn't have to stay." Fili said looking at me. "Of course I did. My duty is to protect the Princes of Erebor." I said my back to him. 
                          
"That May be so, but you too carry a prince or princess of Erebor." Fili stated. 
                          
"Wait!" Bofur screamed. I jumped hearing him and quickly wiped my face looking down. 
                          
"You guys got left too?" He asked smiling

We had begged Bard to let us back in. He finally accepted. 
                          
Fili and Bofur carried Kili into the house laying him on the table. He cried out in pain. I frowned and got a damp cloth pressing it to his forehead to try to cool his fever. 
                          
I looked at Fili frowning. He frowned at me. "Rose can I talk to you?" He whispered. 
                          
I sighed and nodded handing Bofur the cloth before stepping aside with Fili.
                          
"Rose, I know you are worried for Kili but I can tell you are worried more for Thorin. You can't be stressing right now." Fili said 
                          
I frowned and looked down tearing up. "I know it's just....I can't loose either of you guys. It would wreck me." I sobbed covering my face with my hands. 
                          
Soon I felt Fili's arms around me holding me close rubbing my back. "Shhh." He whispered and looked over seeing Bofur run out of the house.
                          
I quickly wrapped my arms around him crying into his chest. "You didn't see the look on his face when I stepped off that boat." I sobbed squeezing him tightly. 
                          
Fili's POV
                          
I gasped when she squeezed me. "Rose you're crushing me." I gasped and sighed feeling her loosen her grip. "I did see his face. I'm not sure if you made the right choice to stay with Kili and I." I said softly rubbing her back. 
                          
Rose hiccuped and jumped hearing a loud noise from outside. Soon it felt as if the ground shook. "What was that?" Bain asked.
                          
"Was it an earthquake?" Rose asked looking at Bard. 
                          
"No...that was a dragon." Bard said. 
                          
I pulled away from Rose and stood in front of Bard. "You must leave. Take your children and leave." I said looking at them. 
                          
"Where will we go?" Bard asked and moved past me and grabbed a black bar above the table. I raised an eyebrow and watched him pull it down to reveal a black arrow. 
                          
"What are you going to do with that?" Rose asked stepping towards us. 
                          
"I'm gonna kill the beast." Bard said and turned to his children. "Take care of your sisters and flee the town if I can't kill him." Bard said and quickly left the house.
                          
I looked at Rose seeing panic on her face. "T..they are all dead! Smaug killed them! That's the only way he was able to leave!" She screamed. 
                          
I grabbed her quickly before she left the house. As soon as I grabbed her an Orc burst through the window causing Bard's children to scream. 
                          
Rose gasped as I pushed her behind me and grabbed a chair hitting the Orc across the head. 
                          
We had no weapons to defend ourselves. I don't know how much longer we could fight off the Orcs.
