Elena's POV - 
                          
I have been a vampire for a year now and I am enjoying it. I am so glad I finally got rid of the Salvatore brothers. They were too obsessive and clingy. Now all I want is love. I want someone to love me for who I am and what I am. I just walked into The Grill and I see the most handsome figure ever. He's blonde and very fit. You can tell he's been around for quite a while but wow is he the basic definition of HOTTT! LOL  sorry I completely forgot to introduce myself.
                          
My name is Elena Gilbert. My birth parents and adoptive parents both died and so did my aunt Jenna. Jeremy is all I have left but he is currently traveling the world and hunting vampires with my best friend and his wife miss Bonnie Bennett. Caroline, my other best friend is a vampire and is with me now. We both were eyeing a guy. Me eyeing the blonde, but she was eyeing the tall dark haired man sitting next to the blonde laughing. They seem awfully close. 
                          
"Care, should we go introduce ourselves?!" I asked my perky blonde bestie. Man I love my life and my friends.
                          
"Well duh, how else are they gonna find out who we are." She replied. I couldn't help but laugh at her statement.
                          
As we walk towards the men our friend Matt stepped in front of us with a very pretty blonde on his arm. "Elena, Caroline this is Rebekah Mikaelson. My wife and mother of our beautiful twin girls." 
                          
"Hi Rebekah nice to meet you. I'm glad that Mattie blue eyes here has finally found a girl to call his wife." I say "oh by the way I'm Elena and this Caroline."
                          
"Its nice to meet you as well. I'd like to introduce you ladies to my brothers Elijah and Niklaus." She said walking straight to the guys Care and I were just eyeing. "Brothers I want to introduce you to my husbands friends, Elena and Caroline."
                          
"Hello there beautiful my name is Niklaus but you can call me Nik." Said the blonde, I now know as Nik, grabbing my hand and kissing the back of it.
                          
Elijah did the same as Nik but to Caroline. Man Nik is super hot. Wait what's this feeling inside me? I've never felt anything like this before. Is this possibly what I have been searching for? Is this love?
                          
Nik's POV - 
                          
My god this beauty has already taken ahold of my heart. Elena is just beautiful. I wonder if she knows about what we are or even this world. Then my question is answered when I see her compel herself a line of shots. Man this girl is hella impressive. I think I am in love.
                          
"Elena, love, would you like to go out tonight?" I asked her, full of confidence.
                          
"Well of course handsome. Where shall we be going?" She asked. Man she really is the other half of my soul.
                          
"That shall be a surprise. But for now why dont we all go to our place and hang out for awhile." I insisted and so we all left. By all I mean Matt, Rebekah, the twins, Elijah, Caroline, Elena and I.
                          
I cant wait for our date tonight. Man she will be so impressed. I just wish I would have met her before I became a hybrid. So 1000 years ago. It probably would have been alot easier for us to get to know each other.
                          
On to their date or should i say road trip: still Nik's POV
                          
I decided to take her to my favorite city, New Orleans. Elijah and Caroline decided to join us as well. 
                          
It has only been three hours into the trip and Elena has already amazed me even more than I thought possible. Her personality is just so bright. I am so glad that she is the person who I have been looking for. I only know this because my brother Kol had told me that the girl I will love forever, also the future mother of my kids, would be in Mystic Falls and my dear sister would introduce me to her. This girl is her.
