Hanna and.. Maddie?

                                    

                                          
Hey, Supervalorian's sorry for the long wait. I've had this chapter ready but haven't had the time to update! I hope you enjoy this chapter. when I was writing this it just came to me didn't even plan it, but have managed to get an awesome storyline going with this. 
                          
Authors POV
                          
"Hanna" Chris said surprised, It was quiet. "Hi, Hanna I'm Melissa, and who is this little cutie?" Melissa asked. "This is Maddie, your daughter, Chris" She said. Melissa immediately stood back up and went over to Chris, standing by him. I rubbed his back back in support.
                          
"Um, I'll Meet you back at home," he told Melissa, "You sure you don't want me to stay?" She asked him. "Its fine, I think I need to deal with this by my self, but I promise you I will tell you everything," He told Melissa with that promising look in his eyes. He gave her a kiss, opening the door.
                          
Chris's POV 
                          
"So this is our daughter?" I asked Hanna, she nodded. "How old is she?" I asked
                          
"4," she said.
                          
4 years old, how can she keep my daughter away from me, for four years. "Why, why would you keep this from me?" I asked her, she sighed. "I've always wanted to tell you to believe me, but your parents said that if I did, they would take Maddie and raise them as her own, but when you and your partner overshadowed your parents I figured that you would do the same with Maddie," she said
                          
"Of course I would" I replied bending down. "hello," I said to the young girl.
                          
"Hi," she said.
                          
"Um I can come back tomorrow so you can spend time with her?" Hanna asked me. "Um yeah, around lunchtime I go down to Melissa's Cafe and have lunch with her if that's alright," I asked for permission
                          
"yeah that's fine, I can drop her here, beforehand, around 12?" She asks me.
                          
"Why don't you meet me down there," I asked her. "Oh no it's ok, I will just drop her here it will be easier" She say's. I nod my head and smile "See you tomorrow Maddie." I say, "Bye" she replies quietly the two walked out, leaving me inside my office. I decided to head home, collecting items so I could make dinner for Melissa and I so I could tell her what has just happened.

"Mel, I'm home" I call out. "Hey," she says coming out in her sweatpants, she looks beautiful in anything I can tell you that right now. She came up and Kissed me, taking some of the groceries bags I had in my hands. We Seattle down and decide to cook dinner together. "So is everything all right with Hanna?" She asks me. "yeah, um so Hanna and I were together for two years, and I guess four years ago I got her pregnant, and after four years she wants me in Maddie's life." I told Melissa and she stood there and listened. That's why I loved her because she didn't go all out and not trust me, I mean that was that one time when we first started to date, but she always listened to me. "If she doesn't want me involved I will stay out of it. I think it's important that you have a relationship with your daughter" she told me with a smile on her face giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Mel we are going to move in together if she is over here I don't expect you to leave the house." When I a spending time with her." I told Mel. She smiled and helped me plate up dinner and took it over to the table.
                          
"There is something else, what is it?" She asked me concerned. "I don't know, it just seemed so fast, I just met Maddie today, and Hanna is allowing Mme to take her to lunch by my self, without her been there, and she is bringing her to my office instead of meeting us at the Cafe," I told her. "Maybe she trusts you?" Mel suggested. "I don't think so, even though we were in a relationship for 2 years it was really rocky," I told Mel, she nodded and stayed quiet. "somethings bothering you, are you ok?" I asked her. She smiled. "um I shouldn't really get involved but it was something one of the girls said to me today when I went into the room, to spend time with them," She told me. "What did she say," I asked now concerned "Are the staff hurting them been, rude?" I asked worriedly. "No, they're not. Her name is Annie and she asked me if she was going to die, really scared. She has cancer, and... well... I was wondering.. do the staff tell the kids what is happening to them, or go to appointments with them?" She asked me. "No, not that I know of, I can look into it." I said she nodded and smile. " you're worried for her aren't you?" I asked her. She nodded "She is so young Chris she doesn't know whats happening to her, I just... no... it's ok. It's not my place to say what happens" she says and continues to eat her food. "Mel, hey look at me. You can go see anytime, and I will look into it, I promise. I am truly keeping my promise to what I said when I was given and opened the facility" I said. She smiled 'I love how passionate you are, your face lights up" she told me. "I can see that too with you," I told her. She smiled. we ate dinner and talked about that cafe on how she was still having trouble with Thea been her assistant, doing everything for her.
                          
After dinner, we, of course, cleaned up and went to watch some TV. "So where would you want to live since we want to move in together?" I ask Melissa as an advert comes on. She shrugs. "How about tomorrow, we spend a few days at my place, pack a bag tonight and I will take the dogs over in the morning and drop, them and your bags off and I will pick you up or you can come and sit in my office until I finish" I asked her, She looks up at me with a smile, and nod's. "Would you help me pack?" she asks as she gets off the couch walking into her room. I smirk following her, after turning off the TV. I helped Melissa pack her bag, only packing underwear. 'hey, why don't you have any G-strings?" I asked her and I saw her blush. "I never needed them." She replied "can I buy you some?" I asked, crawling over the bed, so I could get to her, wrapping my arms around her waist. She was now a bright shade of red, "umm yeah" she replied with a smile "Good because you need some" he said holding up a pair of underwear, that was just your normal cotton type. We both laughed and gave each other a kiss, after that we actually started to pack a few nights worth of clothes. Mel packed a few other things, like her writing book. She had been starting to move her hand a little more and grip things put was so hard for her, it hurt me that she was still in pain.
                          
We decided to go to bed, cuddling up, and falling off to sleep.
