First period was boring. It was just another day of Mr. Trembly rambling on and on about something boring. When the bell rang, I jumped up and collected my things quickly. Next class was math and Mrs. Hopper got really bitchy when we were late. I was halfway there before I was gently pushed into a random set of lockers. I gasped before being attacked with someone's lips. I soon realized it was just Brandon and began to kiss him back. "Babe, " I said through kisses. "Baby, " I pulled away from Brandon. "I've gotta get to class" I told him. He nodded and kissed me one last time before walking off to his class. I, of course was late. "Miss Ziegler!" Mrs Hopper exclaimed. I sighed and turned to look at her. "This is your fourth late this week! Is there something more important than mathematics that I am unaware of?" 
                          
"No Mrs Hopper. It won't happen again" I mumbled before taking my seat. Yikes. I guess I've been kissing Brandon a lot more than I thought. Brynn and Nadia looked at me with a questioning look but I just waved it off. 



                          
Halfway through class, I was jerked back to consciousness by an annoyed Mrs Hopper. "Miss Ziegler. You cannot just fall asleep in the middle of class. Please stay after class today. " she said and went back to the lesson. I just groaned, ignoring the snickers behind me from the rest of the class. 

                          
When the bell rang I sighed and slowly packed up. "Mr Orlando, please wait. " Mrs Hopper called. I turned around to see the same kid who knocked into Brandon earlier nod to Mrs Hopper and walk up to her desk. I sighed and stood next to him. "Well Miss Ziegler, as I'm sure you know, your grades have been slipping a lot recently. " It's true. They were. I've just been distracted lately. With Brandon, my friends, and personal life, things have been getting away from me and school just wasn't a priority anymore. "I've warned you about this before and you've done nothing to help yourself so I'm going to do it for you. Johnny here, is one of my top students. He will tutor you from now on everyday until all of your grades and work in this class are consistent and of good quality." I was speechless. How could she do this to me?! "WHAT?!" I screamed. "I don't need a tutor! Especially not him! He's just a dumb nerd! I can't be seen hanging around this kid! He's an outcast! A freak! How could you do this to me!?" When I was done, Johnny's head hung low, looking at the floor. 
                          
"Detention, Miss Ziegler " Mrs. Hopper told me sternly. "You both may leave. Johnny quickly raced out of the room. "That was really mean, Mackenzie. " she told me and shook her head. I just rolled my eyes and walked out, ready to find my friends.
