*Back at the Avengers* 
                          
"Don't worry Buck I'm sure she will be here any minute," Steve re assures.
                          
Tony walks past them in the hallway.
                          
"Hey Tony can you ask F.R.I.D.A.Y if (y/n) came back from her run?" Steve asks.
                          
"Sure. Hey F.R.I.D.A.Y can you ask (y/n) to come to the main hallway?"
                          
"Sorry sir but Miss (L/N) is not in the building," she replies.
                          
*Distant gunshots*
                          
Bucky and Steve look at each other. They both knew the distinct sound of a gunshot and didn't need to say that something was wrong. They both run out into the night trying to figure out where the sound came from.
At that moment Corax flies up to them.
"Qwark," he turns and flies back in the direction he came from with Steve and Bucky following close.
                          
*Back to your fight*
                          
"You're coming with us," one of the men say.
                          
"I don't think so," you reply. 
                          
You get up off your knees and headbutt the man in front of you. The second man punches your stomach and kicks your ribs. You in turn punch his stomach and grab his arm and trip him with your foot.
The third man had picked up your knife, you go to punch him but he grabs your arm, slicing it open. You let out a scream and grab your arm. You were growing tired, fighting 3 men and Natasha yesterday had taken it out of you. You felt drained, you cant muster the energy to stand and fight. Tears fall from your eyes as the men tie your hands behind your back.
One of the men whispers, "Oh shit," and runs into the woods.
                          
Just then you look up to see Corax with Bucky and Steve in toe. They make short work of disarming the men and rendering them unconscious. Bucky kneels down and breaks the ties on your hands. 
                          
"Thankyou," you whisper.
                          
You look down at your arm there was blood everywhere. 
                          
You look up at Bucky, tears rolling down your face. 
                          
"Bucky.... I'm...starting to get...dizzy" you say through tears. 
                          
"Just hold on until we get you back," he pleads with you. 
                          
"I'm going to have to get her to a medic," Bucky shouts to Steve, "she's losing a lot of blood."
He picks you up off the ground, your body limp from exhaustion.
You rest your head on his chest, your vision begins blur then darkness consumes you.

Beep. Beep. Beep. You wake to the sound of your heartbeat. Your vision is poor and your entire body feels cold apart from your right hand. You gently move your head to the right so see your fingers are laced with Bucky's. 
                          
"Hey your awake," he says gently.
                          
"Where am I?" 
                          
"Your in the medical bay. You lost a lot of blood and you blacked out".
                          
You look over at your bandaged left arm, "they got me good huh," you try lightening the mood.
                          
"I thought they were going to take you," he admitted.
                          
"You can't get rid of me that easily," you reply.
                          
He gives a small smile.
                          
"Why did you have a knife on you?" he asks. 
                          
"I took it while you weren't looking earlier, I wanted to practice juggling it, to impress you." 
                          
He gives a soft laugh.
