It didn't take long before Mikey was my best friend and practically my only true friend. We talked anytime that we could. I texted him between classes, when I woke up, went to sleep, while walked home, I called while Nanny made food in the kitchen and I worked on homework in the living room. He was beyond happy that I had a new friend, a joyful and silly one at that.
I told him about Mikey, other than him being a turtle of course. Even though we met up a bunch, I somehow kept forgetting that he was a turtle.
