Jordan and I both wake at the crack of dawn. Since he was covering two shifts he skipped the gym to sleep in longer. We shared a romantic shower together before dressing to go in our separate directions. I make a small breakfast of oatmeal and coffee so he nor I left on empty stomach's.
"Baby I'm about to leave out. I'll call you when I get a chance so I can check up on you. I love you babe."Jordan said as he kissed me with his beautiful lips."I love you too bae, Kiss me when come in."
                          
Shortly after Jordan left for work Jarvis texted me that he was downstairs in the town car. I slid in next to him as he looked out the other window with his shades on.
                          
"How you holding up Jay!?" I asked as I reached for his hand."I don't know Gee! Ask me once it's over and maybe I'll know." We meet back at Mrs.Ruby's home to join the procession to the funeral. I held Jarvis close as he wept walking towards her white casket. She wore her favorite white suit and ruby necklace. I begged Jarvis to let me send her off with her ruby engagement ring that she gave me but Jarvis refused and reminded me that she told me no matter what happened I could never give it back.
                          
The service was beautiful and lasted about an hour. Jarvis spoke and the choir performed a lovely rendition of Marvin Sapp's "Never would have made it." I stood by Jarvis's side as he released her into the earth. After the burial we all gathered back at ruby's home for the repast. The mood seemed to be light as everyone one laughed and joked an shared stories as they ate. Seeing everyone reminded me of the life I had with Jarvis. My phone rang so I made my way to a quiet place in the house to answer Jordan's call.
                          
"Hello my sexy doctor!" I said smiling.
                          
"Hello my beautiful entrepreneur queen. How did everything thing go baby!?"
                          
"The service was beautiful babe. And I think  over time Jarvis will be okay. But besides him and this gloomy day I can't wait to move in with you."
                          
"That's good. And I can't wait till you move in too. I was thinking maybe you can give my place a woman's touch."
                          
"I'd like that Jordy!" When we spent the night at his house I joked that his house looked like a frat house and offered to add my touch to it. Of course he refused but I see he was coming around to the idea.
                          
"Alright baby I gotta get back to work. I love you so much witcho fine self."
                          
"I love you too Mr. Jordan." As I hung up with Jordan and joined the rest of ruby's family I noticed Jarvis standing with a beautiful dark skin woman with long hair wearing a Yellow sundress. Jarvis spots me and waves me over.
                          
"Gee! I want to introduce you to someone. This is my girlfriend Tika Washington, Tika
this is-" Tika quickly interrupted.
                          
"Giselle! Yes I know who you are. Jarvis told me all about you. I thank you for stepping in for me I had to get one of those amigos boys out of jail. Offput I think his name is."
                          
"Migos babe! And its offset. Gee! Tika is a entertainment lawyer." He said smiling at her like she was God's greatest gift."Giselle it was so nice of you to take time from your Gift Shop to be here for my Fiance."
                          
GiFt sHoP! I should slap the dog shit out of this hoe but luckily for her I wont do that while Jarvis is grieving. And did this girl just say fiance!? The sound of that stung a little but not as much as her belittling of my boutique. " Actually it's a Boutique and Beauty bar not a gift shop. I'm opening up a  second location. My grand opening will be coming up soon you and Jarvis should swing by. You can meet my boyfriend Jordan." I said low key checking her on her slick remark." We would love too. And what does your boyfriend do? Wash hair?" This bitch was truly trying me in front of Jarvis not knowing I'd choke her. "No actually Jordan is a doctor. A pediatrician to be exact." Jarvis seemed to be put off by the mentioning of Jordan.
