My Date with Little Kelly

                                    

                                          
{Raven's POV}
                          
  Today is the day! The best day of all! Today, is the day, I go on a date with Little Kelly! I'm so excited! Normally, on those few dates I've been with her, I would buy her loads of gifts so she would fall for me, but this time, I can't. So I'd better be good!
                          
  "Looking good, Raven!" Scuba Steve says as I straighten my tie in the mirror. RoPo looks at me and smirks.
                          
 "I bet you're so excited!" he says laughing. I smile.
                          
 "I am! I've been hoping for this day for a long time!" I say looking at him. I look down at my tux. My flashy red tie stands out from the black and white, like it should. I told you I had to be good!
                          
  "I can't believe she chose you and not me!" Donny sighs, looking at me. "I have been her boyfriend for years, and now-"
                          
 "I had," Scuba Steve corrects him, and I laugh. So does pretty much the rest of the boys.
                          
 "Anyway, time to go," I say, looking at the clock, which showed that it was clearly 6pm.
                          
 "Good luck, Raven! With any luck you'll win her over!" Leo says shaking my hand. "Sorry Donny."
                          
 "I'm going now," I tell them and leave the room. As I walk down the stairs and see the kitchen. What if the food isn't good at the date? What if Little Kelly doesn't like it? What if...?
                          
  Paranoid, I head to the kitchen and pull out 2 bacon sandwiches. I put them in my pocket (in a bag don't worry!) and leave the Villa.
                          
  I stroll down to the restaurant and see Little Kelly waiting at the entrance, in a stunning pink and black dress. It was black at the top, then the pink dress-y bit (sorry, no idea what it's called). She wore cute hot pink shoes and even changed her flower headband with a darker pink one.
                          
  "Wow!" I couldn't help myself. "You- You look stunning!"
                          
 "Awww! Thanks Raven!" Little Kelly blushes a teensy bit. "You look good too, in your tux!" She's so cute when she blushes!
                          
 "Should we go in?" I ask, nodding at the restaurant entrance.
                          
 "I think we just go in... That's what we did last time," Little Kelly says. We walk side by side into the restaurant, and sit at a table. Little Kelly sits across me.
                          
 "Are you excited, Raven?" Little Kelly asks me.
                          
 "Yeah, so excited! You?" I politely return the question, trying not to blow it. Little Kelly looks at me confused.
                          
 "Uhhh... Yeah, I'm excited," she says, not entirely convincingly.
                          
 "You don't sound too excited, Little Kelly," I tell her. Did I blow it already?!
                          
 "It's just... It's just that I've never turned down Donny before..." she whispers. Oh... That's why.
                          
 "You said he broke your heart too many times, Little Kelly! It's ok to turn people down, you know," I tell her.
                          
 "Yeah, but..."
                          
 "Who did he cheat on you with anyway?" I ask.
                          
 "You know what? This isn't good conversation for a date. Let's talk about something else!" she says. It's almost as though she's hiding something! I shake it off, and at that moment the waiter brings us the food. Oh no! It's seafood! Little Kelly hates seafood!
                          
 "Oh no... I've had the worst luck with dates on this island!" Little Kelly mutters as the waiter walks away. I look down at both of our plates and see nothing but fish. Fish fish fish fish fish!
                          
 "You don't like seafood, don't you?" I say to her. She nods. This date isn't going as good as I hoped.
                          
 "You know what? How about we go for a walk along the beach and sit and watch the sunset! Remember when we did that Little Kelly? You loved it!" I ask her. She looks at me, smiling.
                          
 "Yeah! Let's go for a walk! But... I am starving..." she says. Suddenly remembering the bacon sandwiches, I pull them out of my pocket.
                          
 "I brought these just in case," I whisper, before shoving them back in my pocket. Little Kelly laughs.
                          
 "Ok! Let's go for that walk!"

                          
  We stroll along the beach, chatting about nothing in particular, until we decide to sit down and watch the sunset.
                          
 "It's so beautiful, isn't it?" Little Kelly says.
                          
 "Yeah..." I agree. All the shades of pink, orange and yellow in the sky... It really is beautiful!
                          
 "Raven, could I have a bacon sandwich? I'm starving!" Little Kelly asks me. I reach into my pocket and pull out the sandwiches. I give Little Kelly one. We sit there, watching the sunset, eating bacon sandwiches.
                          
Dream. Come. True.

I try my best to upload a chapter in a pattern with my other book, (like one day this, then the other the next day, this one after that, then the other one the next day etc.) but it sometimes doesn't work out and I have to upload it the day after blah blah blah.
