Friday, Christmas Day
"Brooklyn wake up! Santa came"! Jay'Shaun woke me up.
I sat up, yawning loudly. I looked around my room and everyone was in here. It was funny, because everyone had on fuzzy slippers and stuff. I got up from my bed waking Amari up first. She woke up instantly.
"What the hell Brooklyn? It's 8:00 in the damn morning"!
I laughed, "Sorry, but it's Christmas".
She got up shaking Bakari and Khalil. Bakari woke up and then he woke up Aaliyah. She jumped up holding her stomach. Amari rolled her eyes shaking Khalil again. He got up strectching.
"Good morning family, let's go downstairs and see what kinda gifts we got"! I yelled before we all took off.
I was the first one down the stairs. I went and sat in front of the Christmas tree. It was full of gifts! I was always used to having alot of stuff for Christmas though. I just get more excited every year.
"Everyone grab one present with their name on it. Then we'll go from there". My mother said making us nod.
I hurriedly grabbed my gift and waited. Once everyone grabbed one gift, we sat anxiously.
"Okay, open them". My dad said making us tear our gifts open.
I opened mine and gasped. I got up and gave my dad a long hug.
"Thank you Daddy! Thank you so much"! I yelled excitedly.
"You welcome".
He had bought me the thrasher two peice. I knew he was gonna get it. He might have already had it. I didn't care, I was just so thankful. I took my seat on the rug again touching it.
"Yesss! I knew I was gonna get it"! Bakari stood up along with Jay'Shaun.
"What you got"? Amari asked laughing.
"These all red Balenciagas"! He said making me laugh.
"I got the Kylie Jenner makeup set"! Aaliyah clapped.
"Well I got Fenty Beauty.. that's even better". Amari rolled her eyes.
"Girl you better–"
"I got some blue Balenciagas"! Khalil jumped up cutting Liyah off.
"I got some green ones"! Jay said as they all dapped each other up.
I laughed, everyone continued opening their other presents. I picked up my phone and texted Kashari.

"Kaitlyn! Come on". I yelled as she ran down the steps.
"I'm coming"! She fired holding her bathing suit.
Maya picked her up and looked at me.
"You ready"? I asked making her nod.
We walked outside to my car. We're going to the pool, cause I ain't got time to deal with the beach. Maya begged me to go. I was honestly just gonna lay in bed all day. Kay already didn't wanna come.
