"(Y/N)...!"I whisper yell as she jumps down from Bridgett's troll hair.
I go to follow her before poppy grabs my arm, giving me a look of pure concern.
"Why would you do that!" I yell ripping my arm from her grip, which has gotten surprisingly strong.
Looks like (Y/N) is not the only one changing. "Look I know you are worried, but it had to be done..." she states looking me straight in the eyes.
"..." I turn my gaze to Bridgett's scalp beneath me,not knowing what to say. I don't know how I am gonna fix this and it's gonna drive me crazy.
"She will come back...she's not the type to stay away,but your gonna need to give her time." Poppy tries to calm me.
"W-why" I ask, gripping my hand in a fist.
" because...you both deserve to know...you two need to see that the happiness you both need is with each other!" Poppy practically whisper yells.
"WHAT IS THE POINT!!"
"CAUSE SHE LOVES YOU!!!"

I feel time freeze at her statement. She sighs loudly, " She loves you Branch...and I know you love her too".
Everyone looks between me and poppy completely oblivious to what's going on. "How do u-" she cuts me off " that's not the question you need to ask. In fact I should be asking you how YOU never noticed know it all..."
Images flash through my head, the day I first met (y/n) and she gave me that candy bar, all the times she cooked when I was in one of my moods, how she refused to leave me no matter how tough the situation...the fact she can never stay mad.
Poppy right...I should have noticed her feelings...but I was scared
Diamond guy coughs awkwardly to get our attention, "sorry to interrupt...but Bridgett needs help still..." poppy nods before briefly turning to me.
"She will be back and when she does you two have a lot to explain to one another" she smiles.
"Yea...you know poppy you gonna make a good queen..." I say and smile slightly back, making her blush a bit as she quickly turns back to the problem at hand. Bridgett is having a tough time talking to king Brissle.
"Tell him he has nice uhh..." poppy cringes trying to compliment the Bergen king in some way.
Yep she is definitely gonna struggle complimenting that amount of nasty.
I picture (Y/N) in my head, maybe if I say how I feel when she's near, or how I think she looks it will be the same as how Bridgett feels for him.I look at the ground before working up enough courage to speak.
I smile as I picture i am saying these words to my best friend who has always had my back, and who had stolen my heart since day one,
"When I saw you...it was like all darkness I had ever felt in my life had vanquished..." Poppy looks at me, and I keep pressing forward as I try to keep (Y/N) image in my head.
"I don't know if you feel the same way, but it's as if you were made for me...like you are my other half...and the time I have spend with you which may only be brief, I know It would be empty without you by my side..." I take a deep breath.
"Your my hope in such a hopeless world...but know that know matter what...weird things we go through", I chuckle, " my feelings will never ever change..." everyone looks at me.
Poppy smiles nodding at me, and I whisper so only she can hear, " what I tried I don't know how to transfer how I feel for her into their situation, cause he don't know they know each other!" I growl whisper.
Poppy shrugs and whispers back, "you did better than me"
She coughs before finishing,"sorry if that came on a little strong." Bridgett repeats and I cover my face, wondering just how stupid I sounded.
I walk to the edge of Bridgett's hair ,careful to not be seen. I wonder...where did she go? And will she be ok? I shake my head. No not right now me not your negativity now.
After all there's no backing out now.
