Gordie POV
It was Friday morning, probably one of the best mornings I've ever had. Chris's protective arms were wrapped tightly around me. He was still asleep.
When I was trying to go back to sleep I remembered what happened yesterday night. I uncontrollably started to smile. I turned by body around to face Chris. I kissed his cheek and snuggled into his chest. I could stay here all day.
I fell back asleep for about an hour, then woke up to a very fucking happy Chris.
"How long have you been staring at me?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes.
"I dunno. Since I met you. I always thought you were a cutie." He flattered.
I rolled my eyes and put my hand over his mouth.
"Hush, sweetheart. I'm blushing." I said sarcastically.
Chris started talking, but I just kept my hand on his mouth.
He licked my hand.
"That's my hand not my-" I was beginning to say but he sneezed on my hand.
"Ew!" I screeched and pulled my hand back.
"Anyways, what I was trying to say was we've missed a lot of school. Also, I have no idea when my brother is gonna be back. Same with my dad. And your dad must be worried sick about you. He's probably praying his dick off that you're not hanging out with that lowlife Chambers kid." Chris joked.
"A little too late for that don't ya think?" I said, pulling the blanket over my head.
"Seriously, Gordie. My old man and Eyeball would kill us." Chris anxiously said.
I sighed. "Ok."
We got up and dressed, our eyes attached to the other person's every move.
I started eyeing myself in a mirror. I gasped.
"What?!" Chris asked, running over to me.
"Chambers!" I shouted and stamped my foot.
"What? What'd I do?!" He cluelessly repeated.
I groaned and pointed to all the huge red hickeys covering my jaw, neck, and collarbone.
Chris shrugged. "You were pretty into it last night."
I rolled my eyes.
"Just say Ace beat you up or something. Or say it was a girl." He suggested. "I would believe it. Gordie Lachance the cutest guy in town. Who wouldn't?"
"You do spoil me, Chambers." I said and pulled on my shirt.
"Only the best for you, darling." He teased.
When we were finished getting dressed Chris poked his head out of his bedroom door and yelled "Oh shit! I just spilled beer all over the carpet!" He waited a few seconds.
"No ones home." Chris told me.
"Ya know I would offer breakfast but I don't want you to get food poisoning." Chris joked.
I smiled and hugged him.
"What's this for?" He asked.
"I dunno. You're just nice." I mumbled into his shoulder.
Chris was nice. But that's not why I was hugging him. His life seemed so screwed up and hard and yet he's still the sweetest person I've ever met.
"You're nice too." He said and hugged back.
We stood there hugging for about a minute, enjoying each other's company.
"We should probably start walking to school if you don't want to be late." Chris said, breaking the comforting silence.
"Yeah yeah ok." I sighed. "We need to to stop at my house to get my stuff though."
We started walking to my house when we saw Aria walking too school. Chris, (being the person that he is) couldn't help but start laughing. Aria stared at him, confused.
"Why is she here?!" I whispered to Chris.
"She always walks to school this way." He whispered in between laughs.
Aria's eyes landed on me. She was glaring at me, with despise drowning her sweet eyes.
"Maybe we should-" I was beginning to say while I pulled Chris's arm, trying to drag him away.
"Gordie!" She smiled and hugged me. Her mood switched drastically.
Holy shit was I cringing. This was so fucking uncomfortable.
Chris stopped laughing as he watched Aria hug me.
"Me and Gordie need to go." Chris snapped and pulled Aria off of me.
Chris dragged me away from her as fast as he could.
When we finally got away from Aria, I couldn't help but to smile. Chris was jealous.
"Jealousy is a good look for you." I teased.
Chris exploded.
"She was all over you! You broke up with her and she still wants to suck your-" Chris started ranting but I covered his mouth, for the second time today.
"Chris." I groaned. "I wouldn't let her suck my dick. I don't like her anymore." I reassured and removed my hand from his mouth.
"Yeah but she-"
"Chill Chris. I've heard enough from you." I sassed. I ran up to my room trying to make as little noise as possible. I grabbed my stuff for school and ran out the door.
Jealousy really was a good look for Chris, it was pretty cute to see him jealous, too.
