"I think you travel to search and you come back home to find yourself there." - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

"Maya..." Jasper whispered and he ran outside, leaving Valery behind. Valery looked back at the doctors who weren't breathing anymore. In her head, she thought about the children and babies and confused she shook her head. "Jasper!" Valery yelled after him and she tried to follow him. "Lily, please, release us!" Kane said and Valery suddenly realized her father was still tied up the wall.

"I can't believe she did it..." Valery softly whispered and she walked slowly to her father. Without saying anything she removed his chains. He hugged her tightly. "Lily, what is it?" Kane asked when he held her face between his hands.

"I want to go, I need to get out." Valery said and she grabbed her father's hands. "What?" He asked confused. "I need air." Valery said breathlessly and she let him go. She ran out of the room into the corridors. She tried to find the way into the tunnels. She saw various people dead on the ground, with burns in their faces.

"Oh my god..." She mumbled when she saw a woman with a baby in her arms, sitting on the ground.

Valery did not want this. She knew some people were innocent, who had nothing to do with this. She wanted Clarke. She wanted to kill her. She's done with her dictatorship and bad decisions. But should she kill her? For some, Clarke is a her. Valery sighed loudly and she pushed the door of the tunnel open. She ran through the tunnel into the forest.

It was already dark and quite chilly. She took a few deep breathes and tied her hair in a ponytail. She had nothing but a handgun and a knife with her. She did not wanted to go back to Camp Jaha, not yet. She looked into the forest and saw a light flickering in the distance.

She narrowed her eyes and believed it was a flashlight. "Cage..." She whispered to herself and she started to run towards the light. She was very close to him and he knew it. "Who's there?" He yelled when he looked around, swinging the flashlight. "Show yourself!" Valery started to run at him and he turned around really quick.

He held something out that looked like a blue glowstick. The noise that came off was terrible and Valery had to stop and cover her ears. "Stay back!" He yelled at her. "You're not gonna get away with this Cage, everyone's dead. Soon you will be too." Valery moaned.

Cage held a needle with a red liquid in the air. "Try me." He said. Valery tried to hit him, but he blocked her arm. He kicked her in her stomach and she fell on her back. He jumped on her, Valery holding back his arm that contained the needle. The needle shot into her shoulder and within a second she knocked him on his sleep.

She yanked out the needle and placed it with all speed in his neck and pushed the liquid in. She pushed him off her and he laid down on his back. He started to switch and groan when Valery stood up panting. Valery sat down next to him and looked how he kept twitching.

She grabbed her knife and he looked hopeful at her. She grabbed his arm and made two deep vertical cuts in his wrist. "You still deserve a few more minutes in pain." She stood up and looked at the "V" shaped figure on his bare wrist.

She sighed and walked away from Cage. She wondered if it was the right thing she has done. It won't make her any better than Clarke, because she is a murderer too. However, Valery knew who to kill. She knows what justice is. When she walked further into the forest she saw a familiar face.

"Lincoln..." She said surprised. "Valery." He replied and he looked closely at her. "Mount Weather and Camp Jaha are that way." He said and he pointed to the opposite direction Valery was going to. "I know Lincoln, that's why I am going that way." Valery said and looked passed Lincoln.
