Fragment Fifteen
I never planned on loving you
and so don't blame me that
our bodies thought differently.
I loved the feel of your lips against mine
and when your hands took me to places I hadn't been to before.
Our bodies were in sync, but could our hearts ever be?
None of that mattered anyway because
your fingers chased away any doubt,
your lips silenced any protest and
your tongue,
Oh
...what was I debating about?
I wished though
Oh
The thumping in my chest didn't make me hope that;
you loved me too because
I was afraid my heart would crave you more then my body ever could.
But whose to say lust doesn't spawn love?
