Three months later...
Jia Mei
"I can't believe your wedding is next month, Mei!" Chaewon exclaimed as I nodded and continued to drink my tea. Today I joined with Chaewon and mom for tea and brunch at a fancy café, just a day between us ladies. 
"That's right, your wedding is next month! I can't believe my baby is getting married soon." Mom gushed as well as she wiped a nonexistent tear from her eye, both of them making me feel embarrassed.
"Yeah, but not much will change except for the fact that I'm married."
"That doesn't mean life won't change a lot for you. You'll be living with him and starting a family with him soon, Mei." Mom reminds me before going on to gush about dad "My whole life turned around after I met your father, he made me grow confident in who I am now and he loved me no matter what. So don't you dare say that Chan hasn't changed your life for the better, because it's obvious that you're lying."
I laughed "You're right, mom. He has changed my life, but I don't really think I'd want to start a family so soon. Besides, if you guys wanted an immediate heir, Chae is well on her way to giving you one." I say and pat her baby bump. It's still a lot to process that she's pregnant, especially when she's getting to the start of her third trimester.
"Oh, how could I forget the little rosebud?" Mom placed a hand on Chae's shoulder "As much as I can't wait for this little rosebud to bloom, it's up to her if she wants them to be the heir. Not to forget she still hasn't claimed our family name despite us insisting and that she may claim another name soon." 
Chaewon brushed mom's teasing aside and denied "Oh no, I don't want to force Soonyoung into marriage because of this little guy. Besides, Soonyoung has such a big career that he shouldn't be distracted by a child, but he did say he'll help raise him." she rubs her bump for a moment before continuing "But as for me, I'm very excited to meet my little boy."
"Wait- Little guy? Him? It's a boy?!" Mom suddenly let out a burst of joy. Chae nods before showing us the images from her recent ultrasound.
"What're you gonna name the little guy?" I ask, trying really hard (and failing) to hide that I was very eager too.
"I was thinking either Wonshik, Youngjae, or Sejun. They all fit with Park." Chaewon smiles as she holds her baby bump happily.
"I like Sejun, you should go with Sejun!" Mom beamed with happiness, excited for her first grandchild despite no biological connection.
"Mom, you should tone it back a bit. Other people are looking this way." I try to calm her down, but she's too ecstatic to even think rationally. Chaewon and I just exchange glances before bursting into laughter. Once the server came back around to refill her cup with coffee, my teacup with tea, and Chae's glass with orange juice before mom finally calmed down.
"Sorry Chae, I'm just excited to meet my first grandson! Your father has been excited for weeks as well. Even though he doesn't show it, he's so ecstatic about his first grandson! He even already bought gifts!"
"Aw mom," Chaewon gushed as she placed a hand over her heart "I wish you hadn't told me, now the surprise will be ruined."
"Ah, sorry. I got too ahead of myself." Mom chuckled as the server came back around and gave us our breakfast.
"Your breakfast, Ms. Han." He says as he gently places a lot of pastries, fruit, and an extra pitcher of orange juice in front of us.
