Six Years Later.....
The world hadn't ended. Sam and Dean Winchester had found a way to keep their lives more simple. Sure, they still went on road trips and hunted monsters, but there was no main evil to fight anymore. No more evil angels or demons. Nothing was being released.
It left the Winchester boys open to have new things in their lives. Things like love.
Gabriel and Sam had somehow worked out their complicated past, and it seemed like the archangel had snagged the moose's heart once more. And Sam really didn't care this time, because now Gabe was stuck with him forever.
Dean and Cas's relationship had only grown stronger, never wavering for a second. And now, as Cas walked into the room he shared with Dean, a silver ring on his left finger, he was happy.
The list of simple things was still pinned to Dean's wall as a constant reminder of how the pair had come together. Now, Cas unpinned the list, reading over all the things he had hastily scratched onto it before starting his adventure with Dean.

All of the items were crossed off, and now, Cas took out a pen and flipped the list over.
One word was written on the back of the paper, added to the list. Dean had never bothered to flip it over, so he failed to notice what was really the last item on it.
With a smile on his face, Cas carefully crossed out the word, and gazed at it, letting the memories wash over him.
