if anyone asks me what my favorite 80s movie is i will immediately tell you the goonies.
it was the first ever 80s movie i remember watching over an over again. it reminds me of simpler times, and how amazing the bond of friendship is.
before stand by me fans attack me, i just want to say i adore stand by me to pieces, but the goonies has a special place in my heart.
i am in love with many other 80s movies, but there's something about the goonies that makes me feel some type of way.

i don't know if you get what i'm trying to say.
also i love every single one of the goonies. i've always wanted to be kerri green's character andy because she's gorgeous. i love all of them so much. mouth makes me laugh so hard, well they all do.
i remember recreating scenes from the movie, and i still quote it to this day.
sorry i sound like a weirdo, i have a hard time putting what i want to say in words.
anyways i think we can all admit we want a friend group like the goonies.
also, why aren't there more goonies fanfics out there? i have one in my drafts, but i only started a sentence and stopped (goals).

there's so many iconic scenes that i keep thinking of while i'm writing this.
it's honestly just a purely magnificent movie,
so if you haven't watched it yet, i highly recommend you do.
here's some info: The Goonies (1985) action/romance (it's also super funny, not really that much of a romance tho) the cast: josh brolin as brand (his sweat suit) sean astin as mikey (yes bby) corey feldman as mouth joff cohen as chunk (he had a glo up) kerri green as andy (my queen) jonathan ke quan as data martha plimpton as stef (she's hilarious in this) and more i just don't feel like typing it out lol.
