SHINE
It's been a hour since I've been at the hospital waiting on them to explain what's wrong. Sitting in the waiting room I could feel my heart getting heavier and heavier I already had so much going on and now this. I just wanted this to be over , I wanted daija and my baby to be far away from here. I just wanted to start fresh.
" Hello , sir ".
A nurse came out and stood in fornt of me shaking my hand.
"Is she okay "
"Yes she's fine, we have her sedated "
"What about the baby"
" she's doing very good
"Can you tell me what caused her to pass out"
"Sad to say she was drugged , she couldn't have known what is was someone had to have given it to her on purpose and it was a behind the counter drug,.whenever pregnant women get into car accidents and we need to work on them without harming the baby we use it to sedate them "
After all this shit going on now they wanna come after my baby girl . Who ever this was is going to pay dearly. And now nmthay I think about it my office door was cracked. I never leave it cracked it's always shot and locked, and daija knew better not to go in there unless I ask her to.
"If you want to write a statement-"
"No thank you I'm good , but when can she be awake ."
"First thing tomorrow morning "
"Okay , can I see her"
"Sure thing "
If my heart was heavy before it couldn't get any heavier because seeing her hooked up to a machine and all theese wires on her was hurting my chest.i stood next to her bed and rubbed her belly , I knew she couldn't hear me but it wouldn't hurt to express myself.
" Im tired of seeing you in hospital beds , and crying , hurting ... I'm gone take away from all this, I promise "
I kissed her forhead and then the baby
" Daddy will be right back "
I left her room and called Mario
"Yooooo"
"Mario, I need everyone at my crib right now "
"Right now!"
"Right now !"
I hung up the phone and headed to the house.

Mario was just ending the head count when I came downstairs from my bedroom.
" Y'all allready know what happened in Georgia that's getting tooken care of, security is already boosted at all the wharehouses, but this is something different .... My shit was broken to and daija got hurt.. that's unacceptable.
Everyone was silent they already knew I ain't never a bluffer , I killed more people then I can count on both hands. But bout daija I'll start a whole war.
"I don't give fuck daija does not get left alone , someone gone drive her where ever she needs to go , when I'm not here I need niggas by the gates , in front of my house in the back, I need all eyes on her !!.. if you see someone you don't know trying to get in the gates shoot em ! I don't give a fuck... Shit as of right I need someone at that hospital matter of fact John, Hakeem, and short I need y'all to gaurd daija until I get back. " They got up and left and went into the kitchen and grabbed daijas cup bringing it back to the group.
"Mario, I need you to take this Ahmad and figure out whats in this cup and locate every store who sells this behind the counter , and locate every person who has purchased it within the last 3 weeks."
Mario took the cup and left.
"Y'all got the instructions when daija gets home I need everyone on their shit , if anything happens who ever on duty is dead brah ! I swear im a burry every nigga who was on duty ... Y'all dismissed."
After my crew left I went into daijas room and started packing her bags. I needed her to be out of sight and out of harm, I had another house in Tallahassee and that's exactly where she was going to go wether she wanted to or not. I know she would want me to be there but this shit had to end before she step foot in this house.
