"Do you believe what he said?" Kendall asked.
"Honestly, I don't know who or what to believe anymore,"
"And you're still not talking to Nick?" she asked.
"Correct," I nodded.
"What was his deal with the flowers and Victoria?" Kendall asked, clearly as puzzled as me. "Maybe he did it to get back at you."
"Oh, I know he did it to get back at me. He was being spiteful again," I sighed before rolling my eyes. "These days...I don't know. I...I don't know."
"What?" Kendall asked.
"He's just been very controlling. He thinks he can tell me what to and what not to do," I answered. "When I don't comply, he finds another way to get what he wants. All I can think is, will it always be like this? What happens if he doesn't get what he wants? I mean, if he gave Victoria her favorite flowers and hungout with her just to piss me off, would he cheat on me?"
Kendall remained silent, as if she was contemplating the best response to give me.
"I think you both should have a talk. With you being pregnant for him, the last thing you two want is for an argument to start or for the tension to thicken so much that you both fall off," Kendall advised.
"I know I should, but at the same time, the pettiness in me just wants to ignore him," I sighed. "For the sake of my maturity, though, I'll try to talk about it with him."
"Good," she smiled. "There's no need to make this more than what it is."
"Yeah, hopefully he doesn't be petty back," I sighed. ______________________________________ "I don't wanna talk to you right now," Nick shook his head once finding me on his bed.
He was somewhere outside when I had arrived to his house, and I thought I'd wait in his house for him to come back.
"Why?" I asked.
"When I wanted to talk, you were ignoring my messages. Do you, and Imma do me," Nick replied.
"I did nothing wrong," I argued. "Why you acting like I did you wrong or moved funny?"
"You went to the house of the one nigga I told you not to fuck with. How you expect me to act or think about that?" Nick asked, attitude laced in his voice.
"I told you that we're just friends," I noted. "He didn't even say nor try anything slick. And what was up with you and Victoria?"
"That's called business, and quite frankly, it's none of yours," he answered.
"Buying her favorite flowers for her was business?" I frowned. "Why did you even know it was her favorite if you didn't have feelings for her?"
"She was a friend with benefits," Nick shrugged.
"Oh, so now she wasn't just someone you called when you were horny. Now she was a friend?" I asked, my eyebrows raised.
"Look, I don't have to explain nothing to you. That meeting was strictly business. There was no flirting or anything. We had a few friendly laughs, and that was that. I don't have to tell you anymore than that," Nick argued.
"So I'm not supposed to be asking questions about something I'm upset about, but you can ask about something you're upset about?" I nodded. "Okay."
"Like I said, I told you not to do something, and you went and did it," he replied. "That's what I'm angry about."
"Alright?" I frowned. "You don't own me!"
"Your mine," he argued.
"It's called a relationship, not an ownership," I said while grabbing my purse and getting up. "Play your cards right, otherwise you want have a relationship....not with me, at least. I'm out."
"I don't know why you're still here. I been gave you your cue to leave," he shrugged, his eyes the coldest I've ever seen them.
"Oh, really?" I nodded.
"Really," he confirmed.
I took the spare key out my bag and took the ring off my finger. I placed them on his mini table and replied, "Well, okay. I'm leaving...this relationship. We're done."
