Jun's POV

I woke up from my short nap and looked at the time. 4:55. I had to get moving or I would be late to the meeting. I quickly got up from my bed and grabbed my suitcase. I went to the lobby, checked out of my room, and rushed out the door. I plugged in my headphones and listened to music as I made my way to Pledis Entertainment studio. I was so excited to meet the members and get to know the other new one as well, Their debut date was in a little less than half a year, and i knew I was going to fall behind on the choreo and the songs. I only hope I wouldn't bring the team down.

I arrived at Pledis Entertainment studio and went inside the building. There was a guy waiting by the front desk. I can only guess that he's the manager. I pulled off my headphones and put them around my neck.

"You must be Wen Junhui," The guy said to me as I walked up to the front desk.

"Yes. Annyeonghaseyo. You must be the manager of Seventeen," I said in decent Korean.

"Yes. I will take you back to the conference room to meet the members and I shall take you bag."

I gave him my bag, which he gave to another guy who put the bag in a van. I can only guess that it was Seventeen's way of getting around.

I followed the manager back to room H1010. I was about to open the door, but hesitated.

"Do you think they will like me?" I asked the manager.

"They will love you. The members and their fans will all love you," He said and he opened the door for me. "We have our other new member," The manager said before opening the door wider to reveal me into the room.

"Annyeonghaseyo. My name is Wen Junhui," I said in my not-so-perfect- Korean. I glanced around the room to see 11 smiling boys looking at me. I can only assume that they are the members.

I finished looking around the room before my eyes landed on a guy with light brown hair that was dyed. His mouth was opened, probably from shock. He looks so cute. I got a look at all his features: egg shaped head, almond eyes, light skin. He looked so familiar. I don't know where I've seen him before. I stood there for a second, trying to connect the face with someone, then it hit me. The guy sitting right in front of me is none other than Xu Minghao. My best friend that I haven't seen in so long.

"Why don't you take a seat?" One of them said to me, pointing to the chair right next to Minghao. I nodded my head and sat in the chair. It was a bit awkward sitting next to my best friend/crush. I managed a smile as the manager sat down along with the CEO.

"Alright, so the meeting will now begin. First, the leader will say some words for us," The CEO said.

"Hello, new members. I am Choi Seungcheol, but you can call me S. Coups. I'm the oldest and the leader of Seventeen. I really look forward to working with you guys. You will have a lot of fun with us, whether it'd be during predebut or after debut. All of us are very excited to meet you," Seungcheol said.

I heard a person next to me speak Chinese. I looked to my left to see a person in a black suit speaking Chinese to Minghao. I'm guessing he is Minghao's interpreter, since he doesn't know Korean. I'm glad I learned a bit of Korean before coming here.

"I look forward to working with you guys as well," Minghao said as his interpreter translated Chinese to Korean with ease.

"So am I," I replied afterwards.

"Alright, so now to start the meeting. But first, this gentleman to my left is Lee Jihoon, but he goes by Woozi as his nickname. And this lovely person to my right is Chwe Hansol. He came from America and he goes by Vernon for his nickname," Seungcheol said. Again I could hear Chinese being spoken on my right. I nodded, understanding most of what he had said. "So now, our second oldest, Yoon Jeonghan will begin with the first topic."

Seungcheol pointed to a guy at the end of the table. He had flawless hair as long as his shoulder. "Okay, so first topic, childhood. We need to know a bit about your past before we get into any bigger topics," Jeonghan explained.

"So, Wen Junhui," Woozi started. "We heard that you were a Chinese actor when you were younger."

I glanced over to my left and Minghao looked at the ground. I guess he still remembers what happened in our past. I look back to Woozi and answer.

"Yes, I was."

"Do you still do acting even now?" Woozi asked, a curious look on his face. Seungcheol's eyes kept moving from me to Minghao.

"No. I quit acting about halfway through last year. It filled too much of my schedule and I barely had any time to rest. It became too much for me to handle," I explained, Chinese being heard once again to my left.

"So, what made you come to Korea?" Someone asked. "I'm Hong Jisoo, by the way, but you can call me Joshua."

"I came here because when I was acting for the drama "Intouchable,' I heard a lot of people around my studio talk about Kpop, so I got curious and searched it up after I quit acting. I came to Korea just a couple weeks ago," I explained to the other 14- make that 15- people in the room. I once again heard Chinese on my left.

"Alright. Pretty interesting. Now, Xu Minghao, what brings you to Korea?" Seungcheol asked Minghao. His translator translated that. once again, with ease.

"When I graduated high school, I decided to go to new places, meet new people. I also arrived to Korea a couple weeks ago, but I have never learned the language, so I was a bit lost when I first arrived. I hope to be close to all of you and learn Korean with ease. I've never been out of China, so it's a new adventure for me," Minghao said, hoping his interpreter could translate all of that, but he seemed to be having some difficulty. I could only guess that he wasn't fluent in both languages, so I translated for him.

"He said, 'When I graduated high school, I decided to go to new places, meet new people. I also arrived to Korea a couple weeks ago, but I have never learned the language, so I was a bit lost when I first arrived. I hope to be close to all of you and learn Korean with ease. I've never been out of China, so it's a new adventure for me,'" I translated for the interpreter.

"Ahhh... I see. Now, this is a very important question for both of you. I will ask Junhui because he can understand me. Sorry Minghao," Seungcheol said, Minghao's interpreter translating once again. I nodded. "Do you two... happen to know each other?"

My eyes looked at Seungcheol, unable to answer the question. Even the interpreter didn't translate for Minghao, so Minghao looked lost.

"Well, do you?" He asked again.

"Yes," I answered in Chinese.
