Clarke paced the tent, absentmindedly chewing her nails as she did. It had been a month since her accident and Clarke was relieved she didn't have so many people watching her like a hawk all day, with the exception of Bellamy, but that was nothing new.

"Will you stop pacing? You're making me dizzy." Raven scolded, finally looking up from the radio in her hands.

"It just doesn't make sense, if they landed on the ground safely they would have made contact by now!" Clarke said, throwing her hands out. They'd seen the ship fall from the sky. Clarke knew they'd made it to the ground, but she didn't know who had survived, if anyone had. But, no amount of searching had brought Clarke any answers. The ship had landed too far away for them to find on foot.

"Clarke, our radio has been fried over and over again. Maybe there's has and they haven't been able to fix it!" Raven reasoned with her.

Clarke had given Raven the task of rebuilding the radio, again, so they could contact the ark. The 100 had been on the ground for four years and hadn't heard from their loved ones since Raven first came down.  She desperately wanted to see her mother again, even if she was angry at her.

"Maybe we should go out and look for them again." Clarke suggested.

"Clarke, we tried." Raven sighed. She wanted to find the rest of their people just as much as Clarke did, but she wasn't going to hold onto the hope they were out there somewhere when the chances were slim to none.

"We can try again!" Clarke snapped. She let out a deep sigh and ran her hands through her hair, turning to face away from Raven.

"You should talk to Bellamy about this first." Raven said softly.

"Bellamy won't listen. He thinks they're all dead." Clarke sighed.

"I'll keep working on the radio, you just start planning our first search party." Raven said with a small smile.

"You'll help me?" Clarke asked.

Raven nodded with a sympathetic smile. Clarke had risked a lot in the past to help Raven and had saved her life. She felt like she owed her friend at least this.

"Thank you." Clarke whispered.

"But you have to tell Bellamy. I don't wanna be stuck in the middle of one of your fights!" Raven said seriously.

"Leave Bellamy to me, you just fix that radio." Clarke nodded.

"It's what I do best!" Raven called after her as Clarke swiftly left the tent.

Clarke began her search for Bellamy. She wasn't sure how he'd take the news but this was something she really needed to do. If anything she just wanted closure. She couldn't cope any longer not knowing. If her mother was dead, she would accept it. But if the ark had survived, she could finally reunite families again. Clarke found Bellamy in his usual spot by the wall on guard with Murphy and Miller. Clarke rolled her eyes at them as she noticed they were messing around more than guarding camp.

"Bellamy." She called as she walked over to them.

Bellamy's head spun around at the mention of his name and he grinned when he saw Clarke jogging towards him.

"There's my princess." He smiled as she reached him.

"I need to talk to you." Clarke said seriously.

"What's wrong?" Bellamy asked, his smile fading.

Clarke cast her eyes over his shoulder to Murphy and Miller who were standing behind Bellamy. Bellamy followed her gaze and pulled her towards their cabin. Once they were inside and away from prying ears, he turned to her.
