"Ok everyone, make sure not to move so much" poppy warns.
Since Branch and I are not 'happy', but grey trolls we are unable to change our hair color to help the others with Bridgett's hair. So, we are kinda just along for the ride.
I whisper to Branch, "taste the rainbow Branch.." referring to the all the colors of the hair around us.
He chuckles and whispers back, "be careful it may be contagious..." I smile.
Poppy gives us a look and Branch and I just try and look natural, but we fail. Poppy just shakes her head smiling before focusing on Bridgett.
I look back at branch, "hey I'm sorry for earlier.." I say.
He shrugs, "it's fine...I shouldn't have pushed it, when your ready to tell me then your ready to tell me."
I open my arms up, "come on let's be like the weirdos for a moment..." I joke, but he seemed to have taken me seriously.
Branch almost immediately after the offer, pulled me into a strong hug. It gave off the feeling, that he was scared I was just gonna up and disappear. I remain frozen on the spot for a moment in slight worry. Yet, not long after I finally return the hug and wrap my arms around him.
"I think sometimes, it's ok to be weirdos" he chuckles sadly.
I feel my broken heart skip a beat and it terrifies me enough that I jump back from branch.
"You ok?" He asks.
"Y-yea" I respond.
Poppy turns to us and yawns a little, apparently she's getting a little bored, so she asks,"anyone wanna play a little game to pass time"
"What game Poppy?" The other trolls ask getting excited.
"Hmm idk how about....never have I ever?" She suggests and everyone nods, but Branch and I.
"Uhhh what's never have I ever?" I ask.
"Ok so everyone starts off with five fingers up, and we go around in a circle and name something we haven't done. Yet, if some says something you have done, you put a finger down and if you lose all five fingers your out, sound good?" Poppy explains.
I shrug, not really wanting to get involved, but curious to how this will play out.
"Ok Dj you start!" Poppy whisper yells.
"Uhhh never have I ever... let my hair down.." she says and I immediately put down one of my fingers.
"Really?" Dj asks.
"What? It hurts my scalp keeping it up!" I whine.
"Well don't you trip over it?" She asks, and Branch gives me a knowing smirk.
"Don't you dare Branch!" I whisper yell and he acts innocent as he response with, "ohhh so I shouldn't tell them of the time you were coming to the bunker, and tripped on your hair sending yourself face first onto the floor as you rolled into my table, and food fell all over you? got it!"he sarcastically says making the others giggle.
I growl, "fine wanna play that way...never have I ever wore a dress..." I smirk and his face goes instantly pale.
"Branch you didn't..." poppy laughs.
"I-it ain't what you think!" He says but sighs in defeat as he puts down a finger.
"He kinda had no choice, we were playing by a little stream and I had splashed him, basically soaking him from head to toe... Then I kinda lied and told him it was all I had." I say
I remember he got so angry when he found out I lied to him, though he didn't look bad in my mom's old dress...I choke back the feeling of sadness at the thought of my mom and focused back on the game.
Diamond guy wanted to go next,"never have I ever drank some random drink I didn't know..." he sings silently and looks accusingly at poppy.
"No faaaair it looked good!" Poppy whines,"plus why does everyone seem to have a target" she laughs.
As the game continued the first one out was poppy, followed by cooper the giraffe looking troll, then Diamond guy, dj,and then Satin and chenille. Leaving Branch and I as the last two, both of us only had one finger left.
"Ok since your the last two, I'm gonna change up the rules because you guys know each other to well!" Poppy says.
"We are gonna say the never have I ever just so one of you can have a fair win." Poppy says.
Branch and I nod,"ohhh your going down (Y/N)..." he teases.
I roll my eyes slightly getting bored...but I gotta say this game was actually kinda...fun?
"Allllllrighty I'll ask first!" Dj says raising her hand.
I don't know how they have the energy to play and keep their hair at such a rainbow color, but I don't question it.
"Ok never have I ever...I don't know..." Dj sighs.
"Ohhhh....I got one..." poppy says with mischief in her eyes.
Branch and I look at each other, worry written all over us, "never have I ever had a crush on my best friend!"
Did I say the game was fun? I mean it was a bloody fucking nightmare!
Author's note: lol I hope you guys enjoyed the new chapter I might end up writing another one later today l, but I was at the beach sooo that's why I haven't been really on, and I'm sorry.
But apparently poppy got some balls haha I look forward to what happens next.
